Nice neighborhood restaurant. I think it was pretty good. The homemade potatoe chips were really good and the burger came on nice thick bread and was tasty. The Nachos were loaded. I would say this is a reasonable place to eat and we will go back.
Good food, neighborhood atmosphere. I'll echo comments below. Good food, especially the pizza. It is a little on the expensive side for pizza. It was once smoky enough that it was bothersome, but obviously that's no longer a problem. I love the neighborhood location and feel. Great place.
Great place to eat!. This review is for their location on TW Alexander Drive. Manchester's Grill is our favorite restaurant. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well as my daughter's small wedding reception. The food and service is top notch and we never had to ask for anything. Isabel made sure our guests were happy and is our favorite waitress. I would highly recommend it for a family dinner, date night or party.
Really good but pricey pizza. I really like the pizza especially the vegetable one! Good pizza but VERY smokey bar area. If you don't mind paying top dollar for pizza it is good. Avoid the brunch at the other Manchesters, they should stick to their core business. Overall recommend it.
Want poor service? This is the Place!!!.
We had a $25 gift certificate and decided to use it last night. We a ordered couple of pizzas and dessert which was okay.
It came time to pay the bill and the server told us the certificate was not valid for two $15 pizzas. Supposedly pizza is not an entree at a "pizza restaurant." After speaking with the owner, he made an exception to honor the certificate but then said our $34.XX purchase does not qualify since there is a $35 minimum. Are you KIDDING me?
Oh yeah, and there is nothing "velvety" about their red velvet cake.
Neighborhood restaurant. Manchester's is a good neighborhood restaurant. The food is good and service is good. We typically order the special and have enjoyed it. The beer selection is OK but not great for a neighborhood place. We have met friends there often and had a good time.
Average customer service. We went to Manchester's on a Tuesday night looking for something new to try. The atmosphere is open and comfortable. We sat at our table for several minutes before anyone checked on us. It took even longer to get our order in. The menu selection is very limited I feel. There were only 3 steak options. The portions were very large I must say, but it wasn't cheap. And we didn't even have drinks. The music was nice, but I did not see any dancing as the web site posts. Overall it was just "okay" for me. I do not think we will be returning any time soon.
BEST FOOD AND SERVICE IN THE TRIANGLE. I HAVE BEEN FREQUENTING MANNYS FOR MANY YEARS. THE NEW UPGRADES TO THE RESTAURANT HAVE MADE IT EVEN A GREATER PLEASURE TO GO THERE. YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY AS SOON AS YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR. DINING IN OR TAKING FOOD ON THE GO I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE CUISINE. THE DAILY FISH SPECIALS MIKE CREATES ARE ALWAYS DELICIOUS. THE BARTENDER HOLLY ALWAYS SERVES WITH A SMILE. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND YOU TRY IT TODAY...
Excellent food and customer service!. A great little neighborhood bar and grill in North Raleigh. Great food, great folks, excellent customer service and they always make you feel right at home. Manchesters is great for family dining. They're well know for their Chicago-style pizza (6 Bubbles) but other favorites include calamari, the pub salad (like Seinfields "Big Salad" and there is enough for two there), hamburgers, chicken wings, nachos and all the American favorites. Stop by and say hi to Molly behind the bar and Patrick will welcome you in! There's always a good time at Manchesters.
Excellent Pizza. Manchesters has one of the best thin crust pizza's on this side of town. They have several gormet pizzas styles with a variety of toppings far away from the normal "pepperoni and" variations you normally see. Great appetisers also. It's also a great neighborhood bar. The bar area is large and comfortable. Not too smokey or dim. Friendly staff, thumbs up around for Manchester's.
