Poor customer service.
TWC can never seem to find my account information when I call about a service issue. In one case, after I gave them the account information on my bill, they told me the account was registered to someone else! Funny, I still get a bill promptly delivered to me each month. But not next month. I'm dropping TWC immediately if not sooner.
I watch 4 things on TV: ESPN, Sports, News, History Channel, and Military Channel. Everything else is just to pass time if/when I have some (like when I can't get back to sleep after my 6 week old gets up in the middle of the night). The service always seems to stop (sound goes out, show just "locks up" and the box has to be 'rebooted', DVR controls stop working, etc.) right at the end of the football or basketball game (just happened at the end of the UCONN-MSU Final 4 game). We've gone through 3 DVRs and had TWC out to the house to check out the wiring. I think they want their customers to be happy, but they don't fear losing them. I cannot blame them as I probably won't change either until FIOS or UVERSE come to town. When there is some solid competition, open the floodgates. In the meantime, maybe I'll figure out how to get good sports online and just ditch TWC altogether (except Road Runner... that service is great!).
