Tips for Gladwell, Jason, Dds - Gladwell Orthodontics

HANDS DOWN THE BEST ORTHODONTIST IN THE TRIANGLE!!

My daughter is currently going through Invisalign teen treatment, and we couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Gladwell and his staff always go the extra mile to make each visit enjoyable. Dr. Gladwell takes the time to speak with me at the end of each visit. He always throughly answers any questions I have regarding my daughters treatment. I would highly recommend Dr.Gladwell to anyone in need of orthodontic treatment.

Tried to fit my daughter in for an emergency appointment and were told "we're really busy right now because it's spring break and we're down a staff member but we'll try to fit her in ... she just may have to wait.  and we're at lunch from 1-2:15". Changing appointments or emergency appointments are always difficult. We've had many instances of a sick child or scheduling conflicts where we have had to change appointments to be told we would have to be pushed back at least 4 weeks at a minimum. This is even when we tried to change appts with two week lead-time. Very frustrating. We also have a special needs child who they are not patient with. We get condescending lectures on how she needs to brush her teeth better. Everybody is nice until you sign the paperwork. Have had two other children go through here for braces... one to go...and there is no way I'd go here again.

We have been seeing Dr. Gladwell for about 4 years now and all three of my children are patients, all for very different reasons. Having been one of his earliest customers in Wake Forest, we have seen his practice grow and have recommended many friends to him. We have always received courteous and prompt attention, and the office is a great place to relax while waiting, although we are never there for very long! I would highly recommend Dr. Gladwell's practice to anyone seeking quality orthodontic care.

I went to Gladwell's office for consults for two of my children, and both times they walked out with braces! The office is warm and friendly, yet always professional, making this an easy process for all of us. In addition, Jason Gladwell is very caring of his patients and we will be forever grateful for his help when our son had an accident. It was a Sunday afternoon, Jason was out with his wife and had her drop him off at his office. He spent hours that day and over the next several months helping to save our son's tooth. I highly recommend Jason and his staff to those looking for an orthodondist!

For anyone looking for a great orthodontics experience I highly recommend Gladwell Orthodontics in Wake Forest, NC. Our daughter was referred to Dr. Gladwell from our dentist and it has been a great experience for her and us! Dr. Gladwell is very thorough with his treatments and caring with his patients. He has inspired our daughter to want to become an orthodontist too! I would also like to say that not only is Dr. Gladwell a great orthodontist he is a big supporter of local activities and charities in our community. Living in a small town I think that is great. Keep up the great work Dr. Gladwell and thank you for making our daughter's smile brighter!

Two down, one to go. All three of my kids go to Gladwell and I recommend his practice to anyone that asks. He's friendly, clearly engaged with the patients and their treatment plans and is very active supporter of the local community. Here's the real benefit though...my kids like going. That's huge when they fight going to the dentist, doctors, etc.

Very much about the money, not particularly friendly or caring. Expect good orthodontics, but don't expect much attention, you are a means to an end. Except for the first visit when everyone was all smiles in order to get me to sign on the dotted line, every time we go, I can't shake the feeling that Dr. Gladwell doesn't care much about his patients. I don't think he dislikes them per say; he's not outwardly rude or impolite. You get the feeling that he simply doesn't care one way or the other, he's busy making money. He's disinterested when you try to talk to him (he doesn't stop working on one patient while talking with the parent of the previous patient for instance), he hardly says 2 words to the kids, and he's dismissive or even condescending if you, as a parent have have a specific concern. You get the feeling that he's busy and you are an inconvenience. I don't know if his lack of warmth and attentiveness stems from arrogance, a type A personality or maybe even shyness, but he's all business. On the plus side, visits are short and they will fit you in if your child is in pain. I have to say that for my second child, there is no way I'd bring him to Dr. Gladwell. I'm willing to pay a little more and go see Dr. Cheek-Hill whose dentistry is wonderful and who is personable, warm and approachable. If I have to go see someone every 6 to 8 weeks for nearly 2 years, and hand them $5000, I'd like to feel like more than a walking checkbook.

Cares about speed and $ not patients. It is like a factory like environment a patient arrives every five minutes in chairs in a row. My son has a problem with gagging so it takes a bit longer with him. Dr Gladwell had the audacity to tell my son he was putting him behind schedule. Yea!1 great bedside manner. to tell a 11 year old. Sorry your Dr. can't make money fast enough if he has to spend time with you.

Not the orthodontics of my childhood!. I had braces as a child and I don't remember having fun at the orthodontist! From my son's perspective it is all about the game room, points on his rewards card and the coffee bar (not that he actually gets a coffee but I do)! I enjoy the easy to schedule appointments, quick office visits and a progress report with Dr. Gladwell.

Great experience. We have had a great experience with Dr Gladwell. My son is almost done with his first phase of orthodontics and it has been a relatively painless process. The office visits are quick - almost too quick as my kids don't get to enjoy the video games as long as they would like. The office staff is very friendly. My son also really likes Dr Gladwell's GO rewards card - he can't wait to earn prizes for taking good care of his braces.
