Would Recommend. I would definitely recommend this school to my friend.

Pros:

1) Good location - heart of RTP.

2) They are open from 7am-6pm

3) Organize events throughout the year and engage kids-parents in a lot of activities - like Child Expo, Magic Shows, Movie Nights etc.

4) My kid loves the school and enjoys working with the teachers.

5) Option to send home cooked meal

Cons:

1) A constant change in the teachers - this is the main reason they are getting 3 stars.

2) Sometimes phone responses are slow.

3) Owners sometimes act artificial and could definitely improve on their management skills.

Would NOT recommend. Our child has been at this "school" for several months and in that time we have witnessed over 5 teachers leave. Every response when I ask is, "it's time to move on to better things."

Sorry, but when there is teacher turnover like that in 4 months, there is a problem with the management. For the price of the tuition, we are not happy at all with the care our child has received.

When we addressed our concern about consistency in the classroom (meaning the same faces there) I was abruptly interrupted and told "you're wrong, the consistency is in the curriculum, not the same teachers there each day." Um, sorry, but I tend to disagree. I'm talking about a TODDLER. I felt my concerns were dismissed as if I knew nothing at all. And when we're paying the high tuition that we are, I expect to be listened to without being interrupted. I don't think that's too much to ask.

The other thing is when people at the school (other teachers) asked where we were putting our child, their response was "Oh yes, that's a great school. Lots of our kids and teachers are going there." Problem? I think so.

Sorry, I realize there are many 5 star reviews and I honestly believe you're putting these reviews after not having been there long enough to see through the facade of the owners. I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. Especially for the cost of the tuition which is outrageous.

In addition, when the owners come to hug my child, my child screams and runs in the other direction. This is not normal for my child and a good indication of the facade the owners give to the parents. Don't be duped like we were.

I saw a comment on a post saying that all daycare/childcare has high turnover. I disagree. The new place where we are putting our child has teachers there FROM THE GODDARD SCHOOL and the majority of their teachers have been there for 5 years or more. That speaks volumes about the management.

Wonderful Learning Experience. My daughter has been at Goddard for a year and 1/2. The main reason we wanted to explore other pre-school options was to ensure that she received a diverse learning experience. I feel that she has certainly gotten a good academic foundation. She truly enjoys various learning activities that The Goddard School offers. She enjoys interacting with the teachers and staff there. Based on her learning experience at The Goddard School she will definitely be ready for kindergarten.

It was truly a great experience as a parent.. As a parent I felt my child teacher was great. She was very patient with the children. She told me how excited she was to be a teacher at The Goddard School. I felt that the owners of the school went above and beyond to meet the needs of the children and parents. As a parent I received great feed back about my child daily activities and concerns within a timely manner. The atmosphere of the school is warm and always clean. The owners are very nurturing to the children and always greet them with a hug or smile. Their reputation is known to exceed above excellence in the Morrisville/Cary area. I enjoyed the curriculum and resources that was provided to make sure the children were getting the best for their over all educational needs. The owners were always open to suggestions and very supportive to all the teachers. The Goddard School is a great place to be if you are looking for professional teachers and management that provides a warm , nurturing, safe environment for children.

Great Learning experience. My daughter has attended this daycare for a few years now. I am disappointed with the turnover rate, but my child has absolutely loved each of her teachers. I have heard a lot of negativity regarding the ownership, and while I tend to agree with some of it, the owners are not the ones watching over your child on a daily basis. The owners are extremely interested in you and your child when money or publicity is involved, and unfortunately, it seems to be all about money to them. However, it is a business.

My child has learned so much over the years in this school, so they're doing something right! Overall, the school could stand to hire teachers that are better than just "average", as some of them absolutely are.

Goddard School. We had our 5-year old daughter in the Goddard school on Davis Drive in Morrisville for a short period, for three or four months due to a family matter. We had a time gap between us working full time and the first day our daughter went to a year-around school. From the first minute our daughter walked in the Goddard School, she felt welcomed and important. Every day I struggled to get her in the car to drive back home because she did not want to leave. She always wanted to stay more and play. Every day teachers have had some kind of projects for the kids with arts, math, reading, and learning overall. One day, I was truly amazed on the topic of the lesson the kids were involved in. The Dinosaurs. The 5-year olds were able to recognize and name the dinosaurs one can find in the encyclopedia. How about that?! Sign language, yoga, early reading, creativity, and etc The Davis drive branch teaches kids to recognize and appreciate different cultures, which I think is the most important part of social co-existence. During the time of our enrollment, we were invited (almost every Saturday) to either a food festival, or parent-child walk, or family movie. In other words, the directors kept us busy. At the end of every day, the parents receive a daily card report on how their kids interacted during the day and what their kids have learned.

The staff members and teachers are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I had no doubts or concerns leaving my daughter with class teachers ( I really would like to name teachers here, but I will leave them incognito due to security reasons).

Another thing I would like to point out is wooden furniture and toys. For those of you who are in the organic lifestyle, this is a big plus.

To conclude, I would like to mention a Graduation Day. The Graduation Day was held at the City of Morrisville Town Hall. The first part of Graduation celebration was dedicated to a different culture presentation. The kids performed a graduation song wearing their national folk costumes. Please Beware This School. We had our children here for two years. Given our experience, I have to warn any parent thinking of enrolling their child in this school. The last year of our attendance, teacher attrition was extremely high. Just recently, this school lost another good teacher who literally walked out due to the poor treatment of staff and children. She was not the first to leave in this manner.

Although I completely understand the need for owners to make money, these owners take it to the extreme and it shows in the lack of care that children receive.

The owners put up a nice facade, but it is just that. Please think twice before putting your children in their care.

Goddard School. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a great preschool to send their child to. My daughter is two and a half years old and has attended the school for a little over a year. The staff is extremely friendly and cater to the children as if they were their own. The owners are great and go out of their way to make sure that the parents and children are comfortable and happy with everything going on at the school. They constantly throw different activities at the school that get both the kids and the parents involved like movie night, community walks, along with many other things. They provide daily sheets for the parents that show what activities your child is participating in and what they are learning throughout the day. My daughter continues to amaze me everyday with things that she is learning at the school. Just the other day she was counting and saying certain phrases in Spanish. She is always talking about the good times that she has playing with all of her friends and teachers and sometimes even cries when I come to pick her up since she is having so much fun and doesn't want to leave. When I was first looking for a preschool to send my daughter to, I received a lot of recommendations for this particular school from co-workers and friends. After visiting the school for the very first time, I knew that my daughter would not only have fun but also learn a lot from the curriculum that they have at the school as well. I'm happy with the decision that I have made and I'm sure that you will too if you decide to pick this school.

LOVE IT!. My children have been attending the Goddard School for 3 years and we have loved every minute of it.

The school always has planned events for families and we get information about what is going on. If we ever have questions, the Director or owners follow up with my husband and I right away.

It is a great school and I completely recomend it. My children have learned a lot, and they have been very happy with the teachers and the whole environment.
