2nd time - still no good. We went to Kaze about a month after it opened. I was not impressed, food had no taste, very bland and for goodness sakes, who serves pasta as a side?

Just went this past weekend for a second try and the food was still bland. Ordered sushi and it was lukewarm... really lukewarm like it was put under a heat lamp.

If you want good sushi in the Garner area, I would highly recommend the fairly new Fuji Japanese Steakhouse on 70. Being of Japanese decent, this is a good place for sushi, my sashimi was of fresh quality and tasted clean on the tongue. Those of you who know sushi will know what I'm talking about.

Not good. My husband and I were excited to try Kaze. We went for lunch and although the service was fine, the food was terrible. The sushi and sashimi are quite obviously of very low quality and the rolls were mushy. We ordered scallops from the hibachi hoping it would be better. . .the scallops were overcooked and the rice was bland. We had a very unsatisfying $50 lunch. Save your money and make the trip to Sushi O, Sono, or Sushi blues if your looking for sushi. For hibachi style, we recommend Kanki.

Old head server. Hello kaze reviewers, my name is joseph bryant, and I worked at kaze when they first opened in 2007, I left after several disagreements in the beginning of 2009. Shortly after I left, I wrote a review on this site discussing my personal problems with the owner, which was very immature and unproffesional of me. I wanted to clearly state my apology to the staff , my regulars, and as well as anyone else who read my review, if I discouraged you away I apologize, since then I've spoken with the owner, and worked out our differences. I currently ate there and the food was delicious,chefs were great, service was excellent all around, and the atmosphere is still amazing..I recommend kaze to anyone new and old in the garner and surrounding area..if u have been skeptical to go, I suggest you at least give kaze a try!! You will not be disappointed..thanks for your time.

Great place for sushi & hibabhi. Best place for sushi & habachi.
