Awful! I am a 47 year old woman that was treated like I was a 7 year old kid. I went to the one in Cary and the "girls" working there where condescending and rude. From the minute you walk in the door they try to up-sell you by telling you that you really need the $50.00 bottle of tanning lotion. They do not take no for an answer unless you are very firm. Then, each visit they try to pitch it to you again! I have 2 more tans left and there isn't anyone that could pay me to walk in the door again. I felt abused. Worst experience I have ever had with a business. Totally discourage anyone from going there.

I agree with last comment they are all about the money and all they can get from you. Awful in todays tough times and yes same experience they continue to bill you 4 months after you cancel. They do not deserve to be in buisness with ways like this!!!!!Agree with last review all about the money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and when you dont give them some watch out !!!!! Dont try to cancel they will continue to bill you for 4 plus months and they threaten you to put it on your credit report in diff amounst as individual amounts owed so it goes on your report 4 times with 4 diff acc numbers . Unbelievable we allow people to do buisness like this and get away with it!!!!! Run from this . And Jill the owner is ok with it all trust me.

The owner Jill and there staff are all about the money so be warned. And make sure you cancel in writting do not believe anything the staff has to say over the phone or you will be charged 4 months and they will be sneaky about it and put it on your credit report in 4 diff amounts and dates as well If there was an option for - 5 start this is what I would rate them go somewhere else they are selfish and all about the dollar$$$$. Horrible customer service and buisness ethics

I Love Jill's Beach!. I just started tanning at Jill's Beach in Knightdale, North Carolina, I just love it! I had been tanning at another place prior and have no complaints at all, but could not pass up the package deal that I was offered at Jill's, not to forget that it is only three minutes away from my home. I was very impressed when I first walked in and saw how gorgeous this place is, very stylish with beautiful lighting throughout the salon.

The staff is very friendly and the products are terrific, some that I have never seen before. I was educated my first day, told that I was only allowed to tan twenty~four hours after my previous tan because of the danger it can cause to the skin, I did not know this. This salon takes care of you in every way possible, I sent an email asking if they had tee shirts or tank tops, the following day I had an email telling me yes and they would be at the store waiting for me, I was quite impressed that she got back to me so quickly.

I am now sporting a beautiful tan, I have three different beds that i can choose from...Yippee! I was shopping at a store yesterday and a woman that was shopping as well complimented me on my tan and asked me where I go, and of course I told her...Jill's Beach!

First rate tanning experiance!. Since the first day I walked into Jill's Beach, I have nothing but a great experiance. I have tanned at three other salons in the area and have AlWAYS ended up with a burn. This has never happened at Jills! They, unlike the others, actually take the time to rate your skin profile. From the profile, you are then set on your tanning treck. Being of Irish and Scottish descent and pale as a ghost, I was a bit worried. However, here I am a year later and I still walk thru those beautiful doors to get my tan on. And one more time never a burn in site!

Beautiful Salon & A staff that knows their stuff.. My very first time at a "Jills" was when the Tryon rd location opened. Being an Interior Designer by trade I was immediately impressed by the space. It was clear the staff was knowledgeable and I quickly picked up on a real passion for a nice tan from Jill, the owner, who was at the location that day. I loved the overall mood, music and sense of style. Like going to a great restaurant..... sometimes it's all about the mood.

Jill's Beach Rocks. Love the girls, always smiling and very knowledgeable on all aspects of tanning. They have taken tanning to a new level :) would highly recommend to friends, family and co-workers.

Bronzed. I've been tanning with Jill's for over 2 years now. They are great to work with. They know me on a first name basis. I've tried other tanning salons -- including the versaspa sunless tanning. I speak from experience, that sunless tanning formular left me looking orange! I purchased 3 sessions and only used one of them.

Jill's does change her bulbs regularly at all the salons. The only salon I've not visited is in Garner...I plan to stop by there this weekend and reunite myself with the 1050 again -- it used to be in Cary. I tried the SunAngel for the first time this weekend and it was great!

Jill's Beach offers good service and are by far a superior value to the chain salons in the area! Rather to the competition don't bash another salon, instead spend your energy improving your services and technologies.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. LOVE jills beach!. Getting a safe tan is something that's really important to me, and there is no one else I trust to get it done. I have tanned at other salons and i have ALWAYS been disappointed because they're missing something that Jill's beach offers. I haven't been to another salon in years, and I plan to keep it that way!

if you're in need of some last-minute instant color, their mystic booths do the trick! I LOVE being able to leave straight from a week in the fluorescent lights of my office, spending a few minutes getting a spray, and then go out for drinks looking like a beach babe! The beds are clean, the bulbs are new, the tan solution is fresh. PERIOD. Haven't tried the custom tan yet, but looking forward to it!
