Good luck trying to get served at lunch. Our service was very poor, taking over an hour at lunch to take our order and bring our food. We ended up having to have ours prepared 'to go' because it took so long. The food was on par with any cafeteria food. Next time I will go to Golden Corral. The manager was well aware that their patrons were waiting over an hour and was perfectly OK with that because they were busy.…
Grill cheese bliss!!!. if you love grilled cheese like I do, you must try the five cheese grilled cheese sandwich. It is cheese heaven. There are four cheeses melted inside the sour dough bread sandwich and another kind of cheese, maybe parm, grilled into the outside of the bread. We went for lunch and I am already looking forward to going back for more. Nicely done mimis cafe!…
Excellent Dining Experience. My roommate and I just moved into the area and have made a habit of driving around and trying new places. We saw Mimi's Cafe and decided to give it a shot. First we were shocked by the great decor and ambiance that the restaurant had. It was unique, eclectic, and very relaxing. After we were seated within a 30 seconds we already had our drink orders going and began looking over their very large and diverse menu. When our waitress came back with our drinks, she also had some of their complementary raisin bread. It was delicious! Our meals came in hearty portions, with huge muffins!? I was so amazed that we got muffins with our meal, it was alot different then the prepackaged and hardly warmed breads that most restaurants serve. We also got a box of 4 free muffins just because it was our first time coming there! We went home, full, and with breakfast for the next week. Food was good, service was good, I definitely recommend.…
The Worst Breakfast Dining Experience I Have Ever Had.
This is the worst breakfast dining experience I have EVER had. For breakfast try Shiny Diner, Bob Evans, Courtney's or Winston's; but NOT here.
What is truly disappointing is that I have eaten at other Mimi’s locations in the past, and what sticks out the most about this experience is the pathetic service by our “waitress” (and I use that title lightly) Kanisa. At the beginning of the meal, she got our drink orders wrong. This drink order included a coffee drink with an added shot of espresso called a redeye. I took the time to explain to her exactly what that was. She returned with a glass of tomato juice and beer. So, it was evident she did not even listen AFTER I had taken the time to explain it to her. Then, she abandoned us before taking our orders when we all needed refills. When we finally we received our food orders, most of the food was not even completely cooked. When the food came, she did not even bring all of the food that came with the order and other waitstaff had to step in to take care of it… AFTER I asked. Coffee refills? BARELY. You almost had to tackle her to stop by our table to refill beverages. She would walk by our table to ask how everything was, and when we looked up to answer her she had not even stopped and had kept walking. The food that was cooked had been sitting around being brought to the table so long that it was luke-warm at best. In addition to the lackluster service we received, our waitress gave us a negative attitude the entire meal.
Every person sitting at the table has been a waiter/waitress at a restaurant in the past, by the way; so we have all done this job and know what is acceptable and what is not. There are a ton of breakfast options in the Raleigh/Cary area, and I will NOT be dining at this restaurant ever again.…
