Good Experience

I went here with my boyfriend for a couple of beers and an appetizer during their happy hour--got calamari half price. They had a good beer selection, the calamari came out quickly and it was tasty--no complaints. The bartender was really friendly and chatty. I really liked the interior and the bathrooms!!!! I would definitely come back. I don't understand all the negative reviews?! though the waitress' outfits were kind of odd.

I love the Oxford and I'm surprised to read the negative reviews, especially about Daniel, the manager who I've worked with on private parties and who is extremely helpful and nice. I've had two large parties here and eaten dinner countless times. The food is always excellent and despite being out of wines often they are always happy to suggest something off the menu that is always delicious-i've had some of the best wines I've tasted here based on manager's recommendations. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere and decor which is dramatic and distinct as have everyone i've ever brought here. This is not a AAA Diamond restaurant but I don't think it purports to be, if you want that head down to Second Empire and spend $30 on an entree.

Hey Daniel, don't even worry about that, "worst service ever", publishing... I was there and that guy was ridiculous. My wife and I are big fans of The Oxford. Rock On!
