EXCELLENT STYLIST AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been natural for a little over two years and been to a few natural stylist in the Triangle. Taji's is by far the best natural hair salon in the area. Not only do the staff know how to style natural hair (all types), the customer service is superb! For several weeks, I went to antoher natural stylist who was good at styling hair but did not have good customer service skills. When confronted about an issue with price changes, she became upset and confrontational. She did not seem to care if I came back and after referring several people to her, she said she never owed me a thing...that was my choice to refer people. After this experience, I was skeptical about trying other stylist but I am so glad I found Taji's. Taji's aim is to please the customer so you are not just getting your hair done but you are having a great experience. I was worried that businesses are forgetting how important customer service is but not Taji's. Everything has been excellent, including the workshops, styles, environment, music, professionalism, conversation...can't say enough good things about this salon!

Very Impressive!. I recently had my hair done at Taji's natural hair salon in north Raleigh over the weekend and I was ver impressed. I usually do my own hair and was ready for a change. The salon is very inviting and warm. The receptionist Rhonda was very sweet when offering me coffee tea or a snack afer I signed in. My favorite experience was when my hair was shampooed in the massaging chairs! Very relaxing! Taji was very accomodating when I changed my style at the last minute and went with something that took a bit longer. I got 2 strand twists with cornrows on blow dried hair pinned up into a style. It turned out beautifully! I have already booked my next three appointments!

Was very please with the end result but...... First of all I would like to say that Taji did an amazing job on my hair. I have been natural for 6 years and she is the first stylist that I've used who didn't only do locks or twists. Her salon was clean and the staff is extremely friendly. There were only a few problems that I had during my time there. I had an appointment at a set time but didn't get to the washing bowl until after 45 minutes. Once I was washed and conditioned I sat for another 45 minutes waiting for my turn. By this time my hair had already begun to dry and for those who have natural hair you know that it is very hard to style once it begins drying. When I finally got to the chair Taji was very friendly and knowledgable and she kept up a great conversation with me. Unfortunately while I was getting my hair done I had to constantly get up to allow her time to do other's clients hair. My issue with this is that in order to get an appointment with Taji you have make it very early, sometimes months in advance. Her website gives you the time alloted for each style but the time alloted didn't even come close to the time that I spent there. The style that I got should have taken 75 minutes but I was there for well over 5 hours. I get my hair done often so I understand about wait times but this was unacceptable.

So please be warned that while I do recommend Taji for anyone who has natural hair, plan on being there ALOT longer than the website and Taji will have you to expect.

Taji is great at what she does!. I recently started going to Taji for natural hair services because I just went natural. She really worked with me to learn how to manage and style my hair. Other stylist in the area mainly focus on dreads, but she does it all!!

Loved the experience!. Taji was wonderful, she was professional, friendly and knowledgable. She had great suggestions about styles I could try, Her prices are reasonable and she works quickly and effectively. It was a positive experience and I will definately be a return customer.
