I have been dealing with Midas on Gelnwood for over 4 years, and every experience has been very positive. I've had numerous bad experiences with other mechanics, but these guys are straight shooters. On one occasion my van was running rough, and the "check engine" light came on. The computer indicated a bad fuel pump. They quoted me about $450 (the pump is inside the tank). I told them to go ahead and do the work, but a couple of hours later, the mechanic called and told me that after pulling the tank, they found that the pump was fine - they had discovered a cracked vent tube that was causing the problem. It wound up costing only $125.00. That is honest business! Since then I have had them do brake work, exhaust repairs, replace the AC compressor and numerous other services and repairs, and each time they have been forthright, competent, conscientious and respectful. I have referred numerous friends and family members, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Group of Criminals. I went in for a regular oil change. I gave them a coupon for all this stuff **FROM THEIR WEBSITE** to have done. Not only did they not do any of the things on the coupon, they didnt tell me. I found out later! When I asked about it, he said they just throw the coupons in the trash. But he happily took my money with out doing what I paid him for !

Trusted & Honest!. I have been going to Midas for over 5 years and have been treated excellently. These guys are the most honest and thorough repair group. They know their business and do it well! I send all my friends and co-workers to them as well as my grown children when they need car repair. They ARE THE BEST in the business! Thanks, guys!!!! Andrea Smith

becarful as the left the lug nuts loose on my car!!! scary. well what can i say went there and had them replace the tires on my jetta. took it home and put it in my garage. [ i have 7 cars ] a few months later my wife wanted to drive it so i got it out and she went to the store and when she came back lug nuts where gone!! so i went back there to see if they would make it right the manager said they were not going to replace the nuts that fell off! i only drove the car 120 miles and have all the paper work they didnt care at all. crazy how they are still open treating people like that.. i will tell every one i know about what happpen to me would not go there ever again!! beware!!!

Owner over charges on parts to make bigger profits. I was quoted over 200-300% more on parts and they were not able to do a simple job when only labor was involved. Labor was fairly priced. I got a much better price from Merchant's Tire across the street. Be careful when repairs involve high price parts and get a second quote on parts.

Great job on dual exhaust.... I had planned to go to Meineke, but thier welder was out of gas and wouldn't be ready til the next week. So I went to the next closest place for a quick quote. Midas was right around the corner and I'm really happy that I ended up there. They gave me a very fair estimate for a dual exhaust with very nice chrome tips. They had the work done quickly and professionally. Very happy and would recommend to anyone. Everyone I encountered there was very friendly.

Poor service. We took our Toyota Celica here to have it fixed. It had problems starting sometimes, and after going on long trips it would feel overheated. They told us it that the car had its original sparkplugs in it, and that it needed to be replaced (we had just replaced the spark plugs last year). They gave us a bill of over $400. Our car still does not work. We brought it back two more times, each time they looked at our car and told us that there was nothing wrong with it.

Excellent workmanship. Had to get my exhaust system replaced. They did a wonderful job and at a reasonable price.
