Atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is super friendly. More importantly though, the food is magnificent! I highly recommend the Lamb Vindaloo as well as the Chicken Mango. The Gralic Naan is also incredible!
It has been SUCH a long time since i've had AUTHENTIC Indian cuisine. I mean, this is seriously good. Apparently, it's under new management and since has revamp the menu. The dishes are mouth watering. Everything tastes so good. The butter chicken is like creamy and just mind boggling. THIS IS WOW. They know how to make spice it up but if you want mild, the flavors still don't cease. Cary people go go go! It's more of a casual setting so enjoy with family or an informal date...
We've been here twice now, and are looking forward to trying the Sunday brunch. The food is good, not over-salty, good flavor, and the family-owned feeling is a nice change from "yet another chain of restaurants"! The owner is friendly and very willing to give you a sample of the dishes you might be curious about. Thumbs up!
The best Indian food. Now they are open on Mondays . Went there on Mon. Buffet was excellent. Murgh makhani delicious, mutter paneer good, daal maharani little bland side needed more salt. Overall excellent. Mango pudding.....to live for. Great service. Server 's name was Karla very intentive and professional. Will come back definitely.
The buffet here is $9 something and delicious. I am stunned by some of the negative reviews. Service is awesome, restaurant is absolutely spotless. It might be the cleanest place I've ever been. The goat curry might have converted me to eating goat forever. If you haven't been here, you gotta try it. Buffet runs from 11:00am-9:00pm every day.
Delicious Indian Cuisine. Best in the City – Chef of India is my favorite Indian Restaurant. of choice. Kiran, the owner, serves the best authentic Indian cuisine ever. Once a chef for the Prime Minister of India, now local people can taste the same delicious food of Indian royalty. Recently, Chef of India has remodeled the dining area to make it an attactive and welcoming place to dine. Full of colors and vibrance it really reflect the taste and flare of India.
Kiran, also has a facebook and website, www.chefofindia. com
I recommend this place whole-heartedly. You will be glad you went. Bring your friends so they can enjoy it too!
Excellent Experience at Chefs of India! – The service and the food are superb. They were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. The Chef checked in on us often to make sure we were enjoying the food. Many of the people dining there seemed to be repeat customers, and I can see why. They really treat you like family. They had an excellent selection at their buffet, and the Chef told me to feel free to get some items from the buffet for my son (16 mos) even though we ordered off the menu since I'm vegetarian and my Mother-in-law has to have her food mild. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Navratan Korma and everything was divine. Thank you Chefs of India for your focus on excellent service as that is so rare to find these days! I wish you much success, and I will be back!! (Also, I heard you may cater at Cisco... Can't wait!!)
EXCELLENT INDIAN FOOD – We had a lunch here on 1/16/11. All of the vegetarian preparations were very tasteful (we did not try any non-veg items). The service was great - even Chef Kiran Kumar came to our table to enquire if we did not like any item/items. We were quite impressed with the very tasty preparations. Definitely a MUST TRY Indian food place. Would recommend to any body looking for a good Indian restaurant.
Excellent Resturant in the Triangle – We had a oppurtunity to invite the friends and relatives for the dinner in the Chef Kiran Kumar's Resturant last week. The professional food prepared for the dinner by Kiran Kumar and his team was excellent and everybody was impressed by his skills, especially for Nepali style preparation. We were also impressed by his organisation of suitable items for the event. Also, in the future, if we get the same opportunity, first, we will remember the Kiran and his well organised team for any event as well as family or individual dining.
Two thumbs up for 'Chefs of India'!! – My husband and I dined at ‘Chefs of India’ a few weeks ago and once again, our experience was very positive. We had won two lunch buffets as part of the ‘Geet Bazaar’ radio contest and went for Sunday lunch.
Compared to other Indian buffets in the Triangle, ‘Chefs of India’ offers a large variety, especially in appetizers, non-vegetarian dishes and dessert. Their food is tasty and authentic and we were transported back home to India! Chef Kiran Kumar is always there to welcome diners and chatting with him added a personal touch to our dining experience.
We would definitely recommend ‘Chefs of India’ for their quality of food, their service, and the value for money! Two thumbs up! Make your way there now!
