Dana is awesome.. Dana is pretty freaking cool, ok. Like the other one said, she really cares about what YOU want and not what she thinks it's best. I've been to others and they're just like "Well, I don't really like to do that, so I'm not going too."

She's also super funny and does the best impression of the Teen Mom people, hahaha. She's fun to talk to and interesting.

I usually never return to the same salon, but I'd actually come back to this one and request Dana if I could.

But yeah, she's awesome ok.…

My experence : ). Happiness is the feeling about the way your hair looks; if this dounds like you, Then you need to see Nikki at Gel Salon. Here you'll encounter someone with great talents in styling, trimming, and hair coloring. Most importantly, one of her greatest skills is LISTENING! When i first came to the salon I walked into a wonderful atmosphere of smiling faces and beautiful surroundings. Once i seated, Nikki took time to let me tell her what my needs and expectations were. She asked me quite a few follow-up questions, and it didn't take long before i felt that I was in caring and capable hands.

Never has my hair been so easy to manage; She has top billing in my book based on that fact alone. I was glad that she accommodated the needs I expressed. over the last few months she has suggested subtle changes that have really enhanced the style I initially had. Quite a few people have commented on the highlights of my hair. what an eye Nikki has for beautiful color, and she works her magic on me everytime I see her.

When I leave the salon, I feel like I've been with a good friend. I feel good, look great and i'm ready to face the world and its challenges again.

AWESOME Salon!!!. AWESOME Experience!! I had my hair colored on Friday night at Alter Ego Salon in Raleigh. When I arrived my hair originally was brown underneath with light blond highlights. I brought in a picture of color I wanted to achieve. The color in the picture was strawberry blonde with chunks of blond highlights. After 2 attempts and 4 ? hours at Alter Ego later it was a dark, dark brown. The color was horrible and not only was I completely dissatisfied and upset Dana Hunter the owner insisted I pay $92 for the service. My boyfriend has been going to Nikki Wilson for years.
