Greasy, greasy, greasy!. I grew up in NY, have been to many deli's in my life, so when I heard about this place I figured I would try it out.

The general appearance of the place is nice, the food behind the glass displays looks attractive and inviting. Watching other diners eating their lunch, the sandwiches appeared abundant with meat and toppings, so I was encouraged.

I ordered the steak Philly bomb with everything which included onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. While watching the short order cook prepare the grilled sandwiches however, I was getting a bit nervous as I could see he was taking the onions and peppers that were pre-cooked from the stainless steel bins kept by the grill.

Upon receiving the sandwich, I could immediately see that the bread was saturated with grease, not only from the oil that he used to grill the bread, but from the onions, mushrooms, and peppers that we previously fried in oil some time back. Needless to say, the first bite into the sandwich was all I needed to know that my mouth was being cascaded in a bed of greasy oil which was overbearing and tasteless. The bread itself became very mealy due to absorbing all of the grease. All in all, a very disappointing experience, and I will never go back. Any want to be cook knows that you need to fresh cook onions and peppers to order for them to not emulsified in oil, the Morrisville Deli needs to come to terms with short cutting this step in order to serve their patrons the best possible foods, especially a sandwich that costs $7.95!

Excellent food!. I've been here three times already, had something different each time, and everytime it has been fantastic! A little pricey than what I normally spend for lunch ~$10, but well worth it. They also serve dinner too, I need to go back and try it out (and desert too!), but the corned beef is great and their silician sandwich is awesome. A little off the beaten path if you don't live in Morrisville, but well worth the trip!
