Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital

Best animal care in town. I researched and came across this hospital after being disappointed with many vets in the past. I was very pleased with the service provided. The staff is very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and the vets are just the best I have seen in a long time. They walk you through and inform you through the entire physical exam of the pet and treat you as if you are part of it just as much as they are. I drive two hours to have my dogs seen by this clinic and I will continue to do so for years to come to get the exceptional service they provide.…

Great care, affordable prices. We were looking for a vet in Cary to transfer our pets from after using the same vet in Durham for the past 10 years. After one bad experience at another practice, I was very happy to find Hemlock Bluffs.

The staff was incredibly helpful - even helping me walk my dog to the car as I carried a new baby. The doctors are very knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with our dogs’ health. They also understand and respect financial constraints and helped us to find an solution that fit our budget when our dog’s seizures worsened. They repeatedly called to check on our dog to make sure new medications weren't causing problems and really went out of their way to educate us on the disease and treatment options. I especially like that they have the capabilities to combine Western and Eastern medicine (i.e. acupuncture) into their care.…

Great Vet and Friendly Staff. We recently moved and had to find a new vet for our 1 yr old puppy. Dr. Snyder and her staff were very welcoming and answered any and all questions we had regarding his health and the vaccines that he needed (and we had a lot of questions)! Very Friendly and Caring. I had just brought a new Guinea Pig and needed a vet to check her out. My vet does not take Guinea pigs and HB was very highly recommended to me by a friend who also takes her Guinea pig there. Our visit went great they were all very helpful and sincere.

I didn't know much about guinea pigs and Dr Snyder was great at answering all my questions and treated her like it was her own.

I would highly recommend HB to anyone looking for a vet.
