Loving my new eyebrows!. My whole life I had very light eyebrows, but was always afraid to get them micropigmented. Being very picky by nature, I was afraid it would look fake and god forbid the artist would mess up, it's my face after all.

My friend suggested Amy and after reading all the reviews I made a appointment for a consultation.

Amy shaped my brows and took the time to answer all my questions without rushing. She has great energy, she's very sweet, professional, and not pushy.

It's been a few weeks since the procedure and I'm loving my eyebrows! The shape is perfect, it looks very natural and the color matches my hair perfectly. You would think that eyebrows are such a small part of the face and insignificant but they made such a difference.

Im very happy with Amy's work and would recommend her to anyone! She's definitely worth the money and the time! THank you Amy!

Perfectionist. After Amy is done with my brows it looks as if I am 10 years younger. She is an artist and can arch my brown in a way that looks like I had an eye lift..AMAZING.

Her make up artistry is fabulous, she is truly the best in New York! I walk out feeling relaxed and looking like a model!

AMAZING!. What is there to say that everyone else hasn't! Amy truly is a gem! She is an artist! I am originally from NY and relocated to NC. When I lived in NY NO ONE could come close to the amazing job Amy did on my eyebrows. In NC I don't even dare to let anyone touch me. I travel back to NY just to have Amy work her magic! She not only is the best at what she does, she personally is a great person. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I can say confidently that no matter where Amy is she will always have a huge following. She is the perfect combination of professionalism, personalization and perfection!

Andrea Mac. I did a lot of researches on permanent makeup and reading Amy Kernahan's profile i just knew she was the one i am willing to trust with doing the procedures.I was not disappointed,let me tell you Amy is one of the nicest person you could ever meet.I was so nervous but Amy made the procedures as painless as possible and she talk with you right throughout.It was the first session and i was so pleased.Everyone noticed a difference but no one knew what i had done,they just keep raving how beautiful i looked.Going back for the touch up,i felt so good that Amy remembered me.After the retouch i was so pleased,i look so different and i have so much self confident.Instead of looking at other women they were looking at me and paying compliments.I strongly recommend anyone who wants the perfect eyebrows and permanent eyeliners to run as fast as you can to Amy Kernahan make up studio in NYC.The staff is professional,the service is GREAT and you will be amazed at Amy's work.She also have some great products for your face and body.THANK you Amy for making me feel so good about myself,and i will travel from New Jersey anytime to see you.

Perfect for Perfectionists!. I've referred all of my pickiest clients to see Amy at her studio. One by one, I have watched her transform them into the best looking versions on THEMSELVES. Amy's meticulous hand details and accents every client's features to perfection. Permanent Makeup? I would usually tell people to run away...Now I tell them to run to Amy. Her work is flawless, all of my clients are borderline obsessed with her, and I'm always blown away by how great they look when they come in to see me at the salon for their hair. I can't say enough positive things about Amy and her work: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR PERFECTIONISTS!!!

Genious. Pure genious.. I am a perfectionist in many areas, which is why I was squeamish to go under the needle for micropigmentation with just anyone. I researched everyone in the NY Metro area and hand-picked Amy because she was able to show me how much care and attention she takes to detail- definitely the sign of a perfectionist. I left looking like a model with perfect eyebrows- perfect color, perfect shape. Run to see Amy!

A TRUE TALENT. When it comes to beauty, I will admit I am a total snob. I search far and wide for whose best at what and make sure I do my homework on them before even considering calling their business. I found Amy Kernahan from the internet and quickly read great reviews and when I asked some people I know in the beauty industry they HIGHLY recommended her. I called her salon a bunch of times asking tons of questions before I finally decided to go in and consult with her. The second I saw her I knew I was in the right hands and decided to do the permanent makeup for my brows and upper and lower eyeliner. One look at her and you can just know from her confidence and energy she loves what she does and now I can agree with those who recommend her that she is THE BEST at what she does. I know so many people who have done permanent makeup elsewhere and they loved it and I hated it because it looked so harsh. Amy's approach is so natural makes you look effortless. Also, when you call the salon with a question, AMY herself calls you back! AMAZING customer service and just a pleasure dealing with Amy and her staff. I went with the natural look, but Amy can do whatever your preference is. Like i said at the start of my review I am a beauty snob, I have been to all the "best in NY" places and Amy's studio is truly a one of a kind business.

Best Brows In New York. Amy is AMAZING. For us girls who know the importance of perfect brows, you should look no further than Amy. She is sweet, kind, and very talented. She did my makeup for my wedding and it was fabulous. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is and how talented she is as a make-up artist and brow shaper. I get compliments all the time about my eye brows and its thanks to her

Best Studio on the East Coast!!!!. OMG! I have had the best experiences at Amy's studio...I am a man who normally does not enjoy the experience of walking in to get my eyebrows done. Most men have that uncomfortable feeling walking into the realm of traditional female environments. However, when I first spoke with Amy and her staff I was immediately made to feel comfortable. The studio is clean, inviting, and I felt like a VIP the first time and every time since. You cannot beat the ambiance and location. I had been hearing the ?UNI-BROW? comment for years and I now get compliments on, not only my brows, but also my "look" in general. I get asked often if I have done something different. Needless-to-say Amy has made me feel and look amazing! I highly recommend ANYONE to visit and experience this NYC gem for themselves!

In awe for my new brows!. Nine years wasted on wavering where and if at all I should get permanent eyebrows. This indecision stemmed from anxiety until I saw Amy at a consultation this May. She was very receptive to my ?demands? and offered her professional insight on the best brow shape for my facial contour. Amy?s crafty efforts produced an end result that restored my confidence and permanently wiped out the dreadfully time consuming task of penciling. I am eternally obliged to Amy (AKA my newly found makeup artist) :)
