Bring something to wipe away the sweat.
Avoid this theater if you don't like to sweat. They turn off the AC during the movie after you're already committed to it. By halfway through any movie, you'll be sweating. By the end, you'll be very uncomfortable and your back will be soaked.
I used to think it was just the manager saving money by cutting the AC early at the end of the day since I was catching the later shows, but after trying a couple of early ones, I found that's not the case. It was ridiculous.
The lobby area was fairly comfortable, but the theaters themselves were like saunas. At the very end of Captain America we noticed that the AC came back on, as if to cool it down again for the next crowd faking them out too.
Opt out of 3-D Movie showings. This theater is charging $9.50 for a child ticket and $10.75 for an adult ticket to view the 3-D version of ICE AGE during afternoon hours. If you do not pay attention to the prices it will catch you off guard and I was wondering what so many people were complaining about before it was my turn to purchase tickets. That was it. Of course if you do not wish to pay this they do offer the regular version at the regular high ticket charge. The reason they charge the extra money for the 3-D is because they do not own a projector that show 3-D movies and they had to rent a projector and the patrons are picking up the tab for that. They are charging the same price as the IMAX Theater downtown Raleigh and it is definitely not an IMAX experience! My opinion is that people opt out of the 3-D version and just watch the regular version. Wait for 3-D to come out on DVD, save the $21.00 for the DVD and own it forever.
