bad service, worse food. My wife and I went there for lunch a couple days ago and took my sister and her husband. We were very excited to be there again, because the last time the food was very good. It started with the wonton soup. The wontons were dried out from being left in the refrigerator for a few days. The soup was not hot as well. It had a doughy taste. When the main course arrived, 3 of the 4 dishes that we ordered were cold. When we asked to have them warm it up, the server said no problem. Well, there was a problem. The food was cold again. It was bland, tasteless and swimming in sugary sauce even though I asked for a small amount. My sisters meal was totally wrong. When she asked about it, the server said "Oh, you must have ordered the chinese version", and he walked away. There was no 'chinese version', only one version that was on the menu. My brother-in-law said his food tasted 'processed', and looked awful. If you're looking for poor quality food with an attitude, go to Asian Cafe. By the way, the owner didn't do anything to remedy the situation. Needless to say, I will not be going back there.

Great place to take some dinner home. I used to go to the owner's previous location all the time, but then they moved here to this location a few years ago. I had no idea, but I am so excited that I've found them again. This is a delightful family business to order take out from. I usually go for the Mango Shrimp or the curry spiced Singapore Noodles. They get fairly busy on some nights so i would definitely recommend calling in ahead, although I generally walk in to order and then head over next door to Harris Teeter to get some grocery shopping done.

They started serving bubble tea now, when my daughter at home heard about this she started jumping around. We don't have to drive all the way to the Asian Market in Cary to get bubble tea anymore.

Best in Raleigh. I stumbled upon this place about a year ago and have yet to find it's equal anywhere in Raleigh. The menu may look like your typical shopping center Chinese place, but the food is definitely a cut above, taste wise. I highly reccomend the eggplant with garlic sauce. The pad thai and chow fun is also superb. Haha I'm getting hungry just writing about it! I also always order my food steamed to lighten it up a bit. Still delicious, of course.

As someone else said, you never know when they're going to be slammed, and it is a family owned place so the wait can get long if it's super busy. But it's well worth it.

Cheap, friendly, family owned. I really enjoy the vegetarian selections here and am satisfied every time I order something. True, it is americanized, but it is good food and there is good service. I recommend it for a quick, filling meal.

Sometimes it can get really busy and the wait is a bit long, so I call in to make sure I don't sit around waiting for my food. Despite that, the food is consistently worth the wait.

BEWARE OF THE PRACTICES AT THIS RESTAURANT. I ordered food and realized it was served with black beans. I am highly allergic to beans, so I apologized to the waitress and asked if they could prepare the dish without beans. She returned, rather quickly, with a plate of the same food, less portion size. I was suspicious, so I asked if I was being provided with a new plate of food. She said yes. After two bites, I realized my plate still had black beans. I was so upset. I told her that I could be hospitalized due to this allergy. She was unapologetic and told me "I had ordered the food, prepared with the beans". If these lies are being told to customers in the restaurant, imagine what is going on in the kitchen!!

A diamond in the rough Chinese Restaurant. I've been to this restaurant many times before, usually before going to the Harris Teeter next door. But for the first time I tried dining in. I was so shocked at how pretty the dining room was (p.s. when you dine in, ask to be seated towards the back, much less noise and not as bright lights). I had the delicious Eggplants in garlic sauce as usual and by far my favorite dish. My girlfriend had the hibachi steak, in the beginning I was kind of worried since we were going to try steak at a Chinese Restaurant, (typically not their specialty), much to our surprise, it was actually very delicious, the portions weren't skimpy either. I would say there was at least a good 10-12 ounces of steak. My overall sit down experience was pretty well, it does get a little noisy for a bit since they were getting slammed on a friday night, but that's understandable. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, a very good value restaurant, we had an appetizer along with couple of entrees and our bill wasn't even 30 bucks!

Didn't like it when it opened, tried agaub, still bad. I tried this place just after it opened (a couple of years ago) and was not impressed. I decided to try it again (thought my first experience might be start-up problems) so I tried it again. Still not impressed.

The fried dumplings were nice sized but the meat (?) inside them had absolutely no taste. You could do better at Mc Donnalds across the parking lot.

I also tried the Chicken Chow Mein. Pretty simple dish - chicken strips with some chinese cabbage in a white sauce. Again, no taste and the crispy noodles that they included were some round worm shaped things that didn't soften no longer how long yoy let them soak.

I also tried the hot and sour soup. Just hot - not sour. Gave me heartburn later that night.

Summary: If you want decent chinese take out, go a couple of blocks down Leesville to the "Handy Kitchen" (hole in the wall next to Food Lion") The lady that takes the orders speaks perfect english (not sure the cooks do) and is very friendly

American Chinese food that's actually good. I wouldn't call this place authentic but it's definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The service here is always really friendly, it feels like you're eating with family. The menu is the typical American Chinese (General Tso's, etc.) but there are also some more interesting dishes available, e.g., some Thai-inspired dishes as well as more adventurous daily specials (whole fish, etc.). i always have the salt and pepper shrimp which is great. It's pretty cheap too, usually $40-50 for our family of four. Definitely recommended if you're just looking for a reliable Chinese place in North Raleigh. They do takeout too but I've never had it.

Awesome Chinese FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I live in Capital Blvd, but i drive 20 minutes here to eat. YOU GOTTA TRY THE MANGO SHRIMP HERE!!! it is very tasty.
