Pizza is ok, but it's not what you hope for.. I had recently had true New York style pizza at Harry's in New York City and let me tell ya...this ain't it.

However it's as close as it gets in Knightdale, although I havn't tried Grand Street yet,but I can think of a couple others that are better in the Raleigh area.

Keep trying new places if you want to find the best in town, but if you want a quick lunch their pizza will do.

Honestly though I can think of any one of ten or so other places with better lunch food right in the same area for about the same price.

Slice of NY Pizza, Poor Service, skimpy subs but great pizza. We came from NY 3 years ago and have tried a number of pizza places but none came close to the NY pizza until we found A slice of NY Pizza in Knightdale NC They were great up until the last 6-8 months and then they went down hill. Pizza is still good aside from getting it with doughy crust sometimes. We have had problems with slow service when eating in and not enough meat on hot subs. I went in there today and had to wait for 25 minutes to get 2 slices of pizza and a ham and cheese cold sub. After getting the sub there were 2 pieces of ham and 2 pieces of cheese on it. I complained and said "are you kidding me, you expect me to pay $6.49 for Bread and no meat? I don't think, so as a matter of fact I don't want any of this I just want my money back" They said well thats how we make them, I said well thats a rip off and you just lost some customers to Grand Street Pizza. They unhappily gave me my money back and I took my daughter to Grand Street Pizza, got more meat on her sub and fast excellent service and paid less, go figure! They are not friendly at A slice of NY Pizza but are super friendly at Grand Street!

Good pizza. Bad setting.. Mirrors, mirrors, mirrors. They're everywhere in this place. When I go in to sit down, I don't want visions of myself everywhere I turn. The mirrors everywhere are up to make the place look bigger I'm sure but they create a cold, uninviting dining experience. I've driven past this place and thought about eating there several times again, but didn't because of the mirrors.

Take the mirrors down. Paint it a warm red. Guaranteed your business will go up.

Perfect Pizza!. We've gotten pizza take-out from Slice of NY Pizza twice now and would go back any time we are in the mood for pizza going forward. HUGE pizza's with perfect toppings, sauce, cheese, and seasoning. The white pizza is good. The red sauce pizza is good. The ingredients are fresh. The slices are HUGE and you are almost guaranteed to have leftovers! Yum, yum, and yum!

Absolutely Delicious Pizza. This place is THE place to go for pizza. I live in Garner and this is the only pizza place that my Long Island born and bred husband actually likes enough to recommend to friends. I've never tasted better pizza in the Garner/Raleigh area and I've been here for twenty years.
