Worsed dental practice I have ever seen. I wish I had seen all these reviews before I had even chosen this dentist. This has got to be the worst practice I have ever seen. They closed the local office that iI went to and I cant get my dental records. Now I have to go find a new dentist and start from scratch. The Business manager for the practice cant even get into the building because she has no keys. the "owner", Dr. Spelios, is not taking any calls.

Stay away from these people!!!

This practice and all other under Spelios is a SCAM!!. I would give them zero stars if that was an option....My husband and I purchased dental insurance through Humana One. It was a great deal and offered good coverage. You had to select a dental provider before your first appointment. Initially, it appeared that there were 14 or so to choose from in the area. So, we picked one. My husband then did some review searching online, only to find out that EVERY one of the options was under Spelios and associates. The reviews scared us, but my husband decided to schedule a first appointment, just to see. When he made his appointment, it took them a month to get him in. Then, they told him they had to take a full series set of x-rays - 20 or more. Who does that? So, he went to his first appointment, had the xrays, and expected a routine cleaning, as all dentists give to patients. They however said that they do not do cleanings on the first visit. They then told him that he had bad periodontis and needed a "special" ultrasonic cleaning or the problem was going to become very bad. My husband has ZERO problems with his gums - no soreness, no bleeding, nothing. And to no surprise, the "special" cleaning was going to cost us 175 dollars, as opposed to the 10 dollar copay that we would pay for a routine cleaning. We then looked at more online reviews and saw that others had the SAME experience and were told the same thing about their teeth. My husband called the office three times and left messages, stating that he only wanted a regular cleaning. They never called him back, not once. So we called Humana One and they kindly agreed to cancel our contract. Upon reading some of the reviews and hearing our story/experience, the associate from Humana One also believes they are trying to scam people and take advantage of people at these dentist offices. Please please please stay away!! It's really sad that we can't trust any sort of medical provider, but in this case, you are much better to not trust them. Do not waste your time.

STAY AWAY. Stay far far away from this practice. They took from us over 4000.00 dollars for scaling and rooting and crowns and replaced fillings and sooo on....only to be told we needed more done.....went to another dentist...WOW what a difference....Teeth are fine nooo problems....how in the world can anyone work there knowing they are ripping people off.....I am very sincere when I say STAY AWAY....they alll should be taken in for fraud!!!!!!!

What a horrible office!!!. First of all, I would like to say that I am a former employee of Spelios and Associates. I think I was employed there for about 3 months at the most. I would not recommend this office to anyone!! The computer system used in the office is a DOS based system....DOS!!! Back from the 80's with the comma this and comma that commands. It takes 10 minutes to check someone out! The office needs to take some of that money they are ripping off from patients and update their system...anyone ever heard of Dentrix or Eaglesoft!!!! Secondly, I can't tell you the number of patients I have seen that come in there for cleaning and get told they need a SRP-scaling and root planning. They only needed a regular cleaning but thats how they make their money....charging these patients for expensive cleanings they dont need! I worked in the Lynn Road office and I worked with some of the worst people! They were rude to patients and rude to me! I didn't feel comfortable working there and felt I didn't "fit in". Oh yeah, and forget ever getting a refund from them. You'll never get that back!!!! Take my advice, go somewhere else!!!! I'd recommend McCrimmon Family Dentistry in Morrisville. GREAT office!!!!

I don't have all day!!!!. Everytime I went there to see a dentist, the wait time was more than 1 hour. They have you sit in a dental chair in 15 min, but you would have to wait forever from there. Dentist see you for a min or two at most. She does not even bother look at my chart to review. They over charged me the first twice and took me more than 6 months to fix it. I really want to change dental office, but they are the only one in the area in my insurance network...
