Damaged windshield & will not take responsilbity for it.. Took my car to Auto Bell today at 2710 Godley Ln. location. The wash damaged my windshield and "management" said that the cause was unknown and that they were not responsible for the damage. Now I have a windshield full of small chips. They need to admit fault and replace my windshield.
Simply Awful - Do Not Recommend.
I completely agree with the review written by NCgirl83. I just went to this place today to have my car washed and I am VERY disappointed in what I got for the money. I wish I'd read her review before I went!
I ordered Super Poly Process for $22.45. For this price, my car was supposed to get all of the following services:
1) Full Service Wash - exterior wash, vacuum, windows clean, mats cleaned, interior wiped, wheels and tires cleaned, exterior hand finished.
2) Double Polyprocess - multi-step polishing and polymer clear coat protection process. Auto Gloss to enhance the shine while reducing surface adhesion.
3) Auto Gloss - after finish is cleaned, a special non-abrasive polish to remove minor surface imperfections, followed by an application of sealer.
4) Underbody Wash - flush out salt and road grime from your car's undercarriage.
5) Tire Gloss - exactly what it sounds like.
6) Fragrance - air freshener for the interior.
The full service car wash is a joke. First of all, the "vacuum job" lasted all of a few seconds - while the car was on the rails heading towards the wash, the attendant stuck a hose in the door and swirled it around. I only saw him do this on the front passenger side and believe me, he didn't spend enough time doing it to have made one bit of difference. Next, the car headed down the rails for a wash and steps 2-4. This part is automated and lasts only a few minutes. After this part of the process, the attendant took my car and parked it, where it sat untouched, for about ten minutes. The place wasn't terribly busy - there were only about four customers there, but my car just sat there drying in the sun (waterspots are a nice touch). When someone finally started working on it, he only spent about five minutes to clean the wheels, apply the tire shine, spray some fragrance and wipe down the windows. He didn't even touch the mats. When I inspected the car, the wheels still had big, grimey smudges on them, the tires weren't shined, and the windows and interior looked as if they hadn't been touched. I went home and cleaned the wheels, shined the tires and cleaned up the interior myself.
I will not return to this place. I don't know if all Autobell establishments are this bad, but this one is awful. You'd be better off to have a four year-old kid clean your car. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Go some place else! PLEASE!. Wow. What can I say? This place is terrible. I brought my car in having just been on a road trip to get it cleaned and not a damn thing had been done to it. I got the package with the air freshener and under carriage wash. As previous reviews for the Millbrook Autobell state, they rushed me out of my car, I went inside and waited only 15 minutes. For all the services I purchased, I thought that was a really fast job. I look inside my vehicle and the console under the radio was still filthy and there was a glop of red, sticky goo on my passenger door. Not to mention my review mirror hadn't been touched and neither the shampooing of seats or carpet. I even ordered a carpet shampoo and it hadn't been done!!! I'm a very polite and sweet person, especially when it comes to customer service b/c I've been on the working side before, but DAMN that was a terrible job! I had them to wash it out again for a second time. Before they began, I showed them all of the spots they had missed before. After the second time around, the edges around my cup holders and radio console were still dirty and my review mirror still hadn't been touched!!! Jeeezz what does it take to get good quality service anymore? When I got home I called the customer service center to tell them about my experience. They took down my name and phone number and said the General Manager would be contacting me shortly. So he calls and is a really nice guy. He was professional. I thought maybe this place isn't so bad and that I just caught them on a bad day. NO. He invited me back to the station the next day and said he would have them to redo everything and that he would even take care of my next visit. So I went back the next day and they cleaned it out. May I remind you that the General Manager himself cleaned the car!! I got into my car and there was still some stuff in the console and my seats and carpets hadn't been shampooed. My car wasn't really that dirty to begin with. I am NEVER EVER going back. Not even for the next free visit that the GM promised me! If they cannot get it right the first 3 times around, how are they going to get it done the next time? Please please please go somewhere else. It's not worth the money or the time. I'm going to work on getting my money back because that is absolutely ridiculous.
