Cary >Super Wok
Horrible Experience. We have been dining out every weekend but our experience at Super Wok is by far the worst. This was our second time eating there for the past one year. Previously our impression was that this restaurant was in serious denial and refused to make mild-flavored dish even though we asked for it. For some reason they were offended by this kind of request. This time we decided to try it again, hoping our experience would be better, but it turned out even worst. The waitress who took our order sent us wrong dish not just once but twice. When we received a surprising bill and checked with the waitress, she insisted that was the dish we ordered. What can I say? Avoid this restaurant at all costs!
Great Chinese Food!.
Heard from chowhound that this restaurant had changed management and now had one of the best Chinese chefs in the area. We were not disappointed--very authentic, very tasty food.
Prepare to be adventurous--when we went, the menu still had a very rough translation with dishes like "pork offal with green onions." The "offal" has now been translated to "fried intestines."
All in all, a great experience and one of the few places to get real Chinese food in the Triangle area.
Excellent Thai, great service and friendly staff. My family and I recently discovered ViVa Thai and it has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. We were seated promptly, our food arrived quickly and the staff was very attentive. The staff all seem to adore our 11 month-old daughter and were kind to pick up the toys she dropped. We were offered rice throughout our meal and when the server packed up the leftovers (portion sizes are huge), she also included additional servings of rice. We've tried all the curries and the pad thai and have been very pleased with the presentation, quality of the food and portion sizes. Great value for the money, and a welcoming atmosphere.
