My car has been at this shop for minor repairs for a great deal of time longer than it should, due to the shop ordering the part. Every time I call to check the status, I get the run-around. At first I was told that my car would be ready last Friday, and then that was postponed until Monday or Tuesday of this week. When I heard nothing from them, I called around midday on Tuesday and was told that everyone was at lunch, but that someone would call me back after 1:00. I called around 3:15 (having not received a call from them), and was told that my car would be ready on Thursday. Now, I am looking at Tuesday of NEXT WEEK because the same part was again ordered incorrectly.
The shop tried to shift the blame onto my insurance company, saying that Geico forces them to buy cheaper after-market parts to keep their costs down, and that's why the wrong part kept being re-ordered. I called my claims adjustor, who then drove to the shop to speak to the manager. I am going to insist that Haddock's reimburse me for the extra 9 days I have had to pay out of pocket for a rental car because my vehicle was not ready anytime near when I was promised. As the other reviewer said, save yourself a headache and go elsewhere!!
Big Business but small emphasis on customer service.
I took my car to them for small repairs after a minor fender bender. I never receieved any updates about my car. It took them nearly two weeks longer than they originally told me to complete the work.
