Amerian Laser Services- avoid like the plaque!. Through my employer, I was at the Chamber of Commerce Business Expo in which I entered a drawing and won the now infamous "$300 coupon". After reading these reviews, I canceled my appointment.

You've Been Warned!!!!. What is going on with this company!! From the moment I spoke to the clinic manager I knew something was fishy. She had congratulated me on my $300 coupon which apparently everyone "wins" , because I have friends who won the exact same coupon. When I went in for my free consultation the clinic manager came up with completely different prices for my treatment areas from what she quoted my friends. I felt like I was talking to a used cars sales man, not a reputable laser hair removal center. Against my better judgement I did purchased a package, which now I fully regret. When I went in for my first appointment I had to wait 30mins after my scheduled time. Upon entering the laser room it appeared very unsanitary with alot of hair on the floor. I felt very uncomfortable during my treatment because there were staff members in and out of the room during my treatment time. From there on I had a different technician doing my treatments on every visit. The treatment process always varied in time and I wasn't seeing much of a difference in my hair reduction. Upon complaining to the clinic manager after my seventh treatment (six is the number of treatment she had told I would need) she told me was now entering into my 2 year guarantee and made me another appointment. Now that Iam in my 2 year guarantee I see more hair and the treatments seem to be rushed. Iam very unsatisfied with the company and their employees. If you want results that last and don't want to waste your money like i did, I would stay away from this company!

Buyer Beware!. What a horrible company. Sub-standard service, sub-standard treatments and sub-standard conditions. At first glance this company looks good, on a second glance or " visit", this company is a disaster. All they care about is the $$$. Not the customer or the service. They do not seem to know how to properly schedule appointments so you do not end up waiting at least 20 minutes for your "scheduled appointment". Furthermore it is not uncommon for them to call you to change your appointment time do to some conflict, which results in a major conflict for you, as they say you must stay on your time schedule for the best results. They offer a 2 year guarantee and now I know why! Do your research and find a reputable and honest laser hair removal center. A center affiliated with a dermatologist, who knows about skin and hair and has real before and after pictures. Not just pictures from an airbrushed brochure. I learned my lesson the hard and very expensive way.

The only Laser Hair Removal place in NC where the technicians are not RN's but ethsticians...maybe this is why they are being sued. People not knowing what their are doing!. First and foremost I got involved with this company after entering a raffle box. My friends and I entered. A few days later I got a call saying that I had won the third prize of $300 toward laser hair removal and did I want to set up a free no obligation consultation. I said sure! I never win anything. So I went in they have you fill out pretty general paper work and then I waited. and waited. There were several other people waiting for the laser center people as well. Finally after waiting 20 minutes I got called back. We went in the room and she told me all about the procedures and the background of the company. She then asked what I was interested in. I said possibly underarms. So she priced out underarms, underarms and bikini, and etc..., and what it would cost using their financing. I told her I'd have to think about it. It didn't end there. She kept harrassing me asking when would be a better time, etc.Well when that ended she seemed agrivated that I had wasted her time or something.As I was leaving one of the ladies waiting for a treatment was still in the waiting room and asked how much longer it would be and as I wallked out the door the woman said "about 5-10 minutes," which was the wait when I walked in. Well on my way home 2 friends called one after the other saying "hey, remember that laser removal place? the raffle? I won 3rd place can you believe it??" Turns out everyone is a third place winner and if you don't sign up with them on the day of your consultation they still call you every month telling you about a new special. It seems they have no set pricing-pricing is always changing. I do have a few friends that did sign up and they said it has been a nightmare. Waiting 15 minutes for their appointment, the techs always seem like they have no idea what is going on, and sales pressure. These people just won't accept no. No, means No! I would avoid this company- many lawsuits to the company are pending.
