You Listened. You guys "listened" & responded accordingly, which I thought was great.
Feeling Ripped Off at Southern States. I purchase a Hyandai Santa Fe in 2001 thinking I would keep it until I paid it off and have a few years without a car payment. WRONG! I've had nothing but trouble with this vehicle. The service dept. is the worst of any place I've ever seen. Always in a hurry because of overbooking (should be a warning sign right there) I had to say "lemon law" at one time to get resolution to an electrical problem. No matter what I take the car in for it doesn't fall under "covered by warranty". In fact at one point I ask them if something was covered and they said the tech would have to look at it - WHAT IS THAT ABOUT - It is either covered or it's not! The last time I called, I was upset because I found out that the timing belt that I had paid them over $450 to fix was done wrong and I now have to pay another $450 to get it fixed - the receptionist put me on hold and left me there continuing to press the hold button until I gave up and hung up. Never getting to speak with anyone. Needless to say this car is such a piece of junk (to put it nicely) that I am now getting ready to pay the last payment and at only 80,000 miles I have to buy a new one... IT WON'T BE AT SOUTHERN STATES - I suggest you look long and hard and pay attention to the service dept. before purchasing a vehicle here - IT'S A JOKE and an expensive one at that - lots of luck to you.…
