FUSSY NEW YORKER VERY PLEASED

I recently moved from NYC to Wake Forest & was most concerned about finding a great colorist/stylist.Prior to my move I had my hair done by the same hairdresser for more than 25 years. After much research I decided on LUX salon. When I called for an appoitment I discussed my concerns with the receptionist & she decided Kristen would be the best fit for me. On arrival I was promptly greeted by Kristen. She gave me time to explain what it was that I wanted & assured me she would be able to give me a great cut with color & highlights to my liking. We chatted about my move & how much she loved NC after moving here herself from the Northeast region. I felt so comfortable I forgot all the anxiety I was having prior to my appointment. The final result was amazing! I got the trendy short cut I was accoustomed to along with great color & highlights. I called all my friends back in NYC to let them know that all my concerns were gone....I found a great hairdresser! Now onIy if I can find great pizza......

Christina Preddy- My family stylist!!!!

110% satisfied everytime I walk in the door! My husband, daughters, and I are ALL are clients of hers. She does my color and cut, my husband's haircut, and funky new fun (temporary) things for my girls to enjoy like the featherlocks they recently got. I have had problems with horrible tones or even the dreaded zebra stripes from previous stylists and she gets them blended and natural EVERYTIME! My husband has never been happier with his cuts being in a professional work environment. My girls are hard to please and they LOVE how sweet she is to them. Overall the best salon I have been to in YEARS!

Luv LUX & Christina Preddy is an awesome stylist!

I am in my 50’s and have had a hard time finding a stylist that would give me professional hairstyle - not something too old or too crazy. Christina Preddy listened to what I wanted and did a beautiful job of coloring, cutting, and styling my hair. She even helped me update my hairstyle with a style that I was comfortable with and recommended hair products that actually work. Lux Salon is beautiful and has a relaxing atmosphere. I was very impressed at how friendly everyone was and noticed that all of the clients looked great when they left the salon. I now look forward to some “me” time in a place where I can unwind and rely on Christina to make my hair look great!

You'll never go to another salon!

Best Salon in Raleigh! Lux has such a stunning, upbeat, friendly staff! I always feel at home when I'm at the salon. Great place for nails and waxing too. I also love the amazing selection of products to choose from. Kristin Horvath is my color expert! She always gets my color perfect, mixing high lights and low lights. I've been happy here for years.

And the best part is the Starbucks right next door :)

For color, cut, style, there isn't better out there. She is knowledgeable about what would and wouldn't work with your face, hair, and even personality once she gets to know you, which she will. She's personable and remembers you which an extra bonus I like in a hairstylist.

As for Lux in general? It's great! Lovely receptionists offer you a drink the moment you come in. If you have to wait, the chairs are comfy. The atmosphere is that of a upper class spa not your typical hair salon. High quality products are all they use.
