Horrible Sushi. As an avid sushi-lover, I have to say that their sushi is the worst I've had in a long time. I expected more from a restaurant that services nice (but overpriced) entrees. After a long day at work, all I wanted was a great philly roll... but no, I was given other random roll that tasted awful. Living too far away to return it, I was stuck with the wrong sushi roll and no dinner. It's different when you're eating fast food, but sushi is expensive and I expect it to be quality (and right).
Awesome new cuisine. Been there lotta time before, I guess they just got a new chef, because theres a new menu for their south pacific cuisine, mannnnn, that grilled salmon was good. I didn't really like my appetizer, but the manager kindly switched it out for a different one without charging me a dime. i'll be going back there 4 sure.
One of best places to eat in Raleigh.
Fantastic food on cold plates.
I've been to T.Q. Zheng's several times, and everytime was great. Fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Do wish they would HEAT THE PLATES as the food gets cold very fast. Otherwise they are heading for perfection.
Great Food.
I went 1st time and loved it. It took a little long but remember that good food takes time.
Second time I ordered I got a male that I guess he had no idea what I was ordering and food was terrible.
charging too much for the portion. Tried some authentic chinese dishes from the chinese menu, taste pretty normal, portion is too little for what is charging, i.e. we ordered the "three cup chicken", just got some chicken bones and no meat at all from the dish. Other chained chinese bistro has better quality and ambient for the price and quality of the food. You might have better luck with the American menu compare to the Chinese menu, we wouldn't know since we are not going back.
Asian bistro tantalizes with a myriad of tastes while catering to those wanting to be free of soy sauce-induced experiences..
In Short
Dark hues and Zen-inspired motif verify that this is indeed a bistro that celebrates the delights of the Orient. The appeal is a variety of dishes spanning the Asian food spectrum, from Chinese to Japanese to Thai. It also satisfies those seeking healthier items and those interested in vegetarian options. A good number of soups and salads (beef, chicken, or shrimp) are offered and appetizers include popular favorites such as edamame, soft shell crab, and crab Rangoon.
