AFC Upholstery does beautiful work! We contacted

AFC to reupholster an antique Duncan Phyfe sofa. They quickly responded within an hour with a competitive estimate for the work and the amount of fabric required (given the fabric repeat pattern). AFC arranged to pick up the sofa -free of charge- within a day and said the turnaround would be 3-4 weeks (plus 1 week to order fabric).

When they picked up the sofa, they also noticed damaged webbing on the bottom and recommended repair for a nominal fee. AFC also suggested use of an adjacent shop, 'FabricsForLess' which has a good selection of fabric. To our surprise, the sofa reuphostery was actually completed and delivered within a week of receiving the fabric! We are very pleased with the results and will definitely contact them for other upholstery jobs. The AFC owner and delivery crew were very professional.

Great service!. AFC upholstery just reupholstered 8 dining room chairs for us. I called several places and was quoted 4-6 weeks turnaround, which would not work since I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year. AFC finished them in 3 days (not including about a week to order the fabric). They had a good selection of fabric. The chairs look awesome and I am so pleased with how they turned out. The owner was very professional. Would definitely use them again.

Not reliable. We asked AFC Upholstery to replace a seat on a leather sofa. They took the sofa and then we chased them for 2 weeks. Sometimes they didn't answer the phone, sometimes they said the work is in progress, they ordered the leather and the sofa will be ready tomorrow and so on. Finally they brought the sofa back and it turned out they never touched it. The owner said he felt uncomfortable about doing this job, and we can only wonder why he had to lie to us for so long.
