Great salon & stylists!. Joey has done an excellent job turning my sketchy ideas on what to do with my wavy hair into a really great cut. He takes the time to see how my hair is structured and makes good suggestions if my ideas aren't quite right for my hair type. I've been very pleased with every haircut and get lots of compliments from friends and strangers alike. And that just tops it all!

Great place!. I have been going to Joey for 2 years, and he is great! He has excellent cutting and styling technique, which really helps different cuts work well on my fine, straight hair, and he is very good with color as well. I also have never felt like he is rushing on my hair -- he books an appropriate amount of time for each service, and really pays close attention to the finished product, making sure he is completely happy with your hair before he moves on to his next client. Joey is great, and the place itself is fun and funky, making for a great experience!

Love Love Love!. I have been going to Atomic Salon for over 4 years now...I love everything about it! As a college student I have to pick and choose what I splurge on and getting my hair done at Atomic by Joey is most definitely worth it! I would never let anyone else touch my hair...he's awesome! The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed and the people are wonderful. Once you make your first appointment at Atomic Salon you will never go anywhere else!

Great Atmosphere and I love Lynette Martin!. This salon has such a great vibe..laid back and fun and right in downtown raleigh! Staff is all super friendly and helpful! I love my stylist Lynette, I will never let anyone else touch my hair! She always does excellent color and is so patient with me during my cut as I am picky! She is fabulous, can't recommend her enough! It was my first visit to Atomic Salon and it is so great I will definitely be back!

Fantastic first visit. I walked in and was greeted by a nice sir who offered me a drink, which was pleasant. Brielle came to get me and could not have given me a better appointment. This was my first time to Atomic, and she made me feel very important. I was extremely vague about what I wanted, and very specific about what I didn't want. Regardless, Brielle gave me the full treatment, trying her hardest to give me what I wanted. She showed me how I can style it to look different ways and was very sweet even though I kept switching my requests. I will DEFINITELY go back to Atomic to see Brielle. It might cost a little extra, but it's nice to be treated special every once in a while.

The Best Customer Service. Atomic Salon has the best customer service. When i called to book an appointment with my stylist Mycenia, I spoke to someone at the front desk. She was so polite and respectful of my needs, she was so good that she answered questions before i could even express them. I am not sure what her name was but I would love for her to conduct a training session for all salons in the area as well as the office that i manage. I would recommend not only my stylist Mycenia , but the salon as a whole. The day of my appointment i was greeted by a male who showed the same charateristics of the young lady who appointed me. Then to top it all off i was given the best and a unique cut by Mycenia! Thank you Mycenia and the entire staff of Atomic you will definately be my first referral for a great salon. I WILL be back soon!!

Liz Rocks Atomic. Liz has been cutting my hair for years--literally. She is the reason why I go to Atomic. It's a great salon with nice people & a cool atmosphere. Check it out & ask for Liz. You'll be happy you did!

Love It!. I just started going a few weeks now but as far as I know the staff is great! Everyone is friendly and helpful.

My stylist is Mycenia and she is awesome. I was nervous about seeing a new stylist but she listened to everything I had to say and my hair came out great.

She also recommended a couple of their products and treatments for my hair which I am now currently using and love!

Awesome Salon! Tracey is the best!. My best friend found this salon and has been going there for a few months and after a very bad experience with salon moxie, I took my friend's advice and tried Tracey at Atomic Salon and I am thrilled with the way my highlights came out! She did better than what I asked for, used a very healthy color treatment on my hair, and was very professional and knowledgable! The place is very cute, clean and fun! I am so happy with my hair and I cannot wait to go back! Truly an awesome place and I was so happy with my results!

Raleigh's BEST stylists. Tried this salon a few years back based on a referral from a friend, was immediately impressed by the personalized service I received and the attention to detail...it was the best haircut of my life. I love my stylist and haven't been to another salon since then. The place is great, featuring installations from local artists and individualized stylists booths. They've since taken additional space in their building and have added a sleek spa inspired side. If you're looking for a great cut or color from stylists who seem to know exactly what you want, you definately need to make an appointment!
