Ask for Linzy!. Linzy is a hair genius! Her knowledge of hair types and the products and cuts that work best for those hair types is phenomenal. In one visit she managed to provide solutions to the hair woes that have been troubling me for years. I'm proud of my hair again! Overall service at the salon is always fantastic. Book your appointment now!

Excellent Extentions!!!!. I just got my first set of extentions with Natasha and they have completely changed my life! They are so beautiful! Natasha blended the hair with my natural hair color perfectly! People have no idea that I have extentions in! She took the time to explain in detail how to properly care for them and style them. I love doing my hair every day now! I would recommend Natasha to anyone looking to get extentions. The Salon is clean, very friendly and has great customer service!

blo BLEW ME AWAY!. First impression - awesome! Trendy salon that smells amazing when you walk in the door! You are greeted by this amazing scent in the air and friendly staff is very welcoming!

Stylist (Jennifer) impression - knows what she is doing! Jennifer was very friendly and made me feel as if I had known her forever. She asked a lot of questions to make sure we were on the same page. She gave me an incredible color and highlight!

Departure impression - look forward to my next visit! The entire staff was so helpful and they really make you feel like you are very important and that they genuinely want you to come back.

I recommend this great salon to anyone....give it a try, you just might get blown away too!

Lindzy with a "Z" is Phenomenal!. Well, my 14 year is first and she says Lindzy is fun to be with and helped her when she cut her very long hair short. That was 3 years ago and not only have I come over to the "Z" but I have turned 5 others on to Lindzy and they all love her. She is so easy to talk to but more importantly she KNOWS hair. I often go in not able to articulate what I want but I walk out with it. Once it wasn't quite right and I went back the next day and not only was BLO totally amenable to this fix-it (no charge), but Lindzy immediately saw what had to be done to make it work. I am very loyal to my stylists and it was hard to switch over to BLO but I am so glad that I did. Go and enjoy the cool vibe of BLO and pick Lindzy....you won't be disappointed!!

Seriously best place in the area!. I have lived in many places here across the US and overseas...best haircuts I ever had were in England...when I moved to the area it was difficult to find any salon to match what I had become accustomed to...until Blo...

From the moment I walk into Blo I am made to feel welcome. The place has a super cool vibe to it...their music is killer and I get what i want when i am there - an escape.

The front desk staff is always courteous and helpful. I LOVE Heather she is great at what she does but also extremely good at listening to her customer without taking any offense, she never takes anything personally if I want something altered (which is not always the case in this industry)...;) I find that everytime I go in there I am happy to see her, she is like a friend who is always cheerful and sweet. And the hair, well everytime I get my hair done by her I get stopped and asked where I get my hair done...I think that speaks volumes for her ability!

I have also had other stylists color my hair and do my eyebrows when I was in a pinch and couldn't get Heather...and they too were very good, kind and courteous. Like you say on your site, there are no egos at blo - at least if there are they don't show up for work:)

My son just had a haircut from Jennifer and she was great and everyone has been commenting on his hair. She was really good with him (he is 7)! He looks like a rock star...I might be a little biased...;)

Anyway, if you haven't been there...check them out!

Alysia is the BEST!. I scheduled an appointment with Alysia after receiving a terrible, terrible haircut from another stylist at a different salon. Because of my lego lady (it was so choppy and jagged) hair cut, I was terrified that she'd have to cut off several inches just to make it look normal.

Before we started, she talked to me about the look I was hoping to achieve the first go round. She listened completely, and I was completely surprised when she told me it'd be cake, she wouldn't have to take much length off and to just trust her.

I could not believe the results when she was done. I kept thinking: How did she manage to take what I had and turn it to the BEST HAIRCUT I'VE EVER HAD?! I was stunned, but completely happy.

I've gotten nothing but compliments on my new locks, and I'll never go to anyone else ever again!

Thanks Alysia!!! You ROCK!

SO NOT what I asked for..... I went in because I was looking fro a new colorist and this salon was voted best by Indy magazine. Big mistake. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and said, "but of course, keep the length". First, she didn't know what type of color to use, permanent or demi. Then she proceeds to not "keep the length" and cut my hair above the nape of my neck! I have never in my life had it this short. When I expressed concern, she said, "Tell me you're not freaking out on me". What's done was done, so I didn't freak out, but I wasn't happy. At least it was all one length, so I thought I could work a bob - albeit a short one. She then starts to thin out the back with some shears. My hair is very fine as it is. When I expressed concern about that, she said she had to do that so it wouldn't flip out in the back. That's what blow dryers are for, no?? Long story short, I walked out of there looking nothing like the picture. I look like a boy. This seems so be a common story among the folks who are not happy with this salon. They simply don't listen. If you like the layered boy cut, by all means, go here. If not, avoid this place.

Anything but Mediocre. Having just relocated from the northeast, I've tried a few of the well known salons in the area. Those salons in terms of the environment, service, and the expertise of the stylists were average at best. My daughter recommended me to Blo. Let's start with their environment...open, comfortable, great music, extremely inviting. Their service...consistent, honest...not contrived. Now to their stylists, and my guy "Jay". Jay is highly skilled at what he does, both at interpreting and executing the cut you were looking (hoping) for. His active listening skills, couple with his quest to continually update his skills shows with every cut. My wife and daughter tell me that my hair has never looked better ! While I appreciate the compliment , it's a compliment to Jay's talents. Give "Blo" a try, and don't pass up the beer or wine they offer.

Pricing Problems. I have been going to blo for a really long time (2 years) and each time I go the price goes up even though I have been getting the same things done. I feel that the pricing is very inconsistent and they do treatments just to"bump" up the bill. Now looking back I can't believe I was spending $200 dollars and still not having fab hair. It's kinda disappointing that I was just getting average results. I will no longer be going back because they have priced themselves out of my range. The owners are also to cheap to allow you to leave your stylist a tip on your credit card. I mean honestly how many people carry cash (enough to tip 20% on $200) anymore? It's just too Inconvenient to try to get to an ATM machine and make it to the appointment on time. At the end of the day it's a lot of hassle and disappointment.

Mind 'Blo'ing!!!. In the industry, Bryan is creatively and artistically among the best of the best. I drove ~ 75 miles (one way) for my experience at Blo. One of the most important aspects of my appointment was the discussion of what kind of cut and subsequent styles I was seeking. Bryan's proactive listening skills are well-honed. I described what I wanted, which other hair designers had told me they could not do...I want it short and long. Bryan and I looked at a picture that probably had extensions and other things going on, but he described what he could do with my mid-back length hair to give me the desired cut and variety in styling options that I wanted. I took a risk I knew was worth it!! He used cutting edge techniques, no pun intended, and his extreme talent, and produced a cut like I have never had before. The variety of styles I have created since then have enamored my husband, brought multiple daily compliments, and boosted my self-esteem up to 120%. Bryan's knowledge and skills are not kept to himself. He and others at Blo work together to educate and grow their talented team. Whoever at Blo does your hair will give you a cut that attracks compliments and improves your image. Lastly, the salon is beautiful and takes one away to a place where beauty, creativity, and artistry abound.
