Absolutely a wonderfully positive and professional experience there at Adara's Spa. A little tricky finding this hidden treasure, however, well worth it! Mrs. Sundrae has a warm, friendly personality, well suited for this discipline and very knowledgeable about her craft. I was welcomed, made to feel comfortable and did not wait long to be serviced.

I am not a fan of the intimate waxing process, but will have to admit I love the results and this particular Spa has managed to make a resounding, distinguishing difference for me! This Queen worked swiftly, providing explanations as she worked and results are smoooooth and silky, just the way I/he like it! ;)

As a man going for its first intimate wax I must say this is the perfect place. Sunny is wonderful and the experience is flawless. I will come back for "maintenance". Thank you for being so professional yet so friendly and understanding.

I first found Adara when I was searching for a place for my husband to get a (relatively pain free) back wax and for myself to get nails done for my own wedding. Boy did Sunny come through on both tasks! I went with her LCN treatment for my nails and have to say, it is MUCH BETTER and much SAFER than acrylics or any other kinds of artificial nail techniques. I have been seeing her for almost five more months now since then, and I continue to be impressed with Sunny (and her staff's!) charisma and genuine nature. Go check her out, you won't regret it.

Amazing! I am thrilled that I found this Spa. As a guy it always feels a little bit embarrassing to walk into an unknown spa (even for pedicures). In this instance I was even more apprehensive than usual. After a few previous attempts at home waxing (Ouch) I finally decided to break down and find a professional. Sunny welcomed me into the Spa and made me feel right at home! We discussed the areas to be waxed (Full Back and Butt) She assured me that she was a pro "Loved Waxing" and that it would look great.

Due to the intimate location of some of the waxing she requested that I disrobe completely (I think most people would agree that it is a bit awkward to be completely naked and vulnerable in front of someone you just met) but with Sunny it was totally natural and not awkward in the least. She even gave me pointers on how to blend the hair on my legs with a pair of clippers to achieve a more natural look. I have to highly recommend this spa to any man that wants to stay properly groomed while retaining that feeling of being a man! My girlfriend absolutely loves the result (Hair where it should be and none where it shouldn't)

Great Experience!. I have had a few services at Adara and I always feel special and that I am in the hands of true professionals in their field. Adara just added Derrick Jones as a massage therapist. He has excellent training and focused on the type of massage to help my particular issues. Very professional, very good experience. I'll be back. This spa is not run by people who love what they do!

My favorite spa. I visit several spas in the Durham/Raleigh/Cary areas, and Adara Spa is hands down my favorite. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy and the staff is outstanding. I've seen both Desiree and Sunny for waxing, and they do a wonderful job. Both are very good at keeping me relaxed during waxing, which doesn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. I recently had a massage from the Adara's new massage therapist, Lisa. She did a fabulous job. It was one of the best best massages I've ever had. I highly recommend Adara Spa.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!. LCN recommended these ladies to me and they are THE BEST in town. I won't go anywhere else. Gel nails are the way. ta. go. I'll never go back to that fake plastic crap. When it comes to waxing, Sonny keeps a relaxed and comfortable environment... I was scared to death on getting my first brazilian, but Sonny was able to keep me calm. I never felt awkward or embarrassed. Extremely clean and very professional. It was quick and easy and I will definitely go back again and again.

Great service and care. I had my first brazilian wax over a month ago and became a returning customer here. Sunny does an amazing job and helps you feel comfortable. Just wanted to say 2 thumbs up for getting your waxing needs taken care of.

Get your wax done here!. I found this place through a Google search and am glad that I tried them out! I get Brazilians done with both Sunny and Tanisha and they are awesome!

I love the flexibility and convenience of booking my appointments online. There is plenty of parking and the location is conveniently located near Wade Ave and St. Mary's Street.

Also, Sunny and Tanisha use hard wax - something that I have not tried before but am now hooked! Waxes last longer and you are left with cleaner results.

I have already referred two friends and both had great experiences as well. The staff are great and will make you feel comfortable, especially if it is your first wax or first wax in awhile.
