Great burgers.. I've eaten at Firebirds many times and would have to say it is one of my favorite restaurants to go to with friends. I've had almost every item on the menu and would say that there is nothing I wouldn't recommend. The staff varies to either being very attentive or not attentive at all. But I'm wiling to overlook that simply because the food is that good. There is usually always a wait even during lunch but it's worth it.

Average food would be a compliment. greal looking establishement, service okay, steaks are terrible and of low quality, bar food best describes this place that packs it in for ambiance, there is no way anyone can tell me food is culinary or steaks are rate any higher than select. Someone please tell me why this place is busy, cause its not the food

Great Salads. They have a great salad menu that you can add fish, chicken or beef too. And they are huge and fresh. The appetizers are fun to share and good for teenagers or younger children. They have flexible seating so they are able to seat small groups or large pretty easily. The service has been very friendly each time we've been there. The orders come out pretty quickly unless they are really busy. Most of the time they are correct. If they are not, it's generally fast to get it fixed. Good for lunch or dinner. The portions are large so usually there is take home.

Best of all, recently they went to NO SMOKING!!!! You used to walk in and wait by the bar - uggghhhh horrible smoking, now it's wonderful and clean smelling. Reasonable prices, reliable food quality. You can call ahead to get on the wait list which works out great.

Great steaks and service, nice wine selection. I really enjoyed firebirds steaks and herb encrusted prime rib. The portions are the perfect size, also be sure to try the lobster spinach queso which is by far the best appetizer in Raleigh. The bartenders are nice and very attentive, and know their drinks and wine by heart. There isn't a single bad thing on the menu, as I've dined there on numerous occasions. Andrew was our server, and he truely made our experience one of a kind.

Happy Hour. Make sure you go to Firebirds on Wednesday nites before 6:30. $2 Coors Light and $3 Margaritas make for a great start and their Bar Bites for just $3 are awesome. The baby back ribs are the best of the 4, but the wings and the sliders both are worth the $3 price. The staff behind the bar are both friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere also. BTW the drink specials are all day and the bar bites are from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
