Please, take my advice, go elsewhere!. Wow....Will never go back. I do not understand how this practice is open. Unbelievably RUDE staff. I can now understand the negative comments below, after talking with them myself. I sure hope that the staff understands that patients dont want to feel like trash when they walk out the door. I have been to many doctor offices in my life and this was by far the works experience.

Great Dr....Excellent. If anyone has had a bad experiance here it's more than liely their own fault. I had been seeing Dr. Sicking for about a year and I loved it. I've seen him for everything from a cold to a major accident. Then only reason I am not seeing him now is because I don't have health insurance at the moment. The front desk asistant is very sweet and shalway remembers us. I would definately recommend Dr. Sicking to anyone!

wow!!!! excelent!!!!. first of all, to the person who gave the bad review: go have YOUR head examined!! geez!!! ok, enough of that. some things aren't worth our breath so i'll move on. Dr Sicking was wonderful. he has a lot of knowledge and i like a doctor that will exlapin things in layman's terms. i liked that this wasn't one of those high-rise medical facilities with the 50 receptionists that treat you like a side of beef. Dr. Sickling and his nurse were very professional but also very warm and welcoming. when i called to set my first apt, Joan the receptionist was so nice and friendly. i was very happy to get an apointment withing a few days instead of months like the high-rises do to you. i highly recomend Dr. Sickling, he and his team are outstanding.

They way a Doctor should be..... Dr. Sicking is a great doc. Remember when doctors used to care about their patients? Remember when you felt comfortable calling the doctor after the appointment to ask advice or to just follow up and you were ACTUALLY able to talk to the doctor? This is the treatment that you receive at this practice. It is not some huge corporate conglomerate with ten receptionists who scowl at you if you are ten minutes late. This is a doctor's office. The way it should be...

A phone call to Jennifer is all it takes to get you in to see the doctor and she will make sure that all insurance, paperwork, etc. is taken care of. She is great!

This is a doctor who knows his stuff. He talks and most importantly, he listens. He is not in a rush. He wants to help. I highly recommend Dr. Sicking and this practice to anyone looking for a doctor that will take care of you for years to come.

Wonderful Doctor. Dr. Sicking agreed to see me early the very next day after I called him. A good friend had recommended him. The doctor was able to revise my friend's diet, and he no longer has to take HBP meds. I had bronchitis, and after 8 days (it started as cold, but didn't leave), he prescribed medication that got rid of the illness and helped me feel better immediately. I realize that bronchitis is hardly a life & death situation, but he also suggested a pneumonia vaccine in the near future, which I wasn't aware of. I usually get bronchitis once every year or 2 (no, I don't smoke, never have). I would definitely recommend him.

Question about this doctor. Any recent comments - pros or cons - for Doctor Sicking? Is it easy to get an appointment during the day - how about lunch hour (since I'm a working person and lunch hours are best). One comment said his assistant is overworked - how many nurses and staff people are in this office? Are there any physician assistants?

miscomunication. i felt like a situation was not handled properly therefore i will not be back

i did like this doctor however comunication is a huge part in health care

i would recommend him to other people however i will move on

THEY ARE LIKE FAMILY TO OUR FAMILYS. DR.SICKING,AND HIS RIGHT HAND LADY JENNIFER AT WORK ARE LIKE FAMILY TO US .THEY TREAT US WITH THE UP MOST RESPECT AND HAVE NEVER GAVE US FALSE HOPE I LIKE THIS DR. BECAUSE HE TELLS YOU THE TRUTH NOT JUST WHAT HE THINKS YOU WANT TO HERE AND JENN IS THE SAME WAY.I DONT KNOW WHO WROTE THE BAD COMMENT ABOUT THIS DOCTOR BUT THEY ARE PROBLEY ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT ALL THEY WANT IS PAIN MED. AND IF YOU AINT SICK,HURT OR REALLY NEED HELP DONT BOTHER NO HES NOT GONNA JUST GIVE YOU MED.BUT IF YOU REALLY NEED HELP AND ARE HAVIENG PROBLEMS HES THE BEST ID RECOMEND HIM TO ANY ONE. Excellant Knowledgable Physician!. My family and I have been seeing Dr Sicking for several years. He and his staff have always treated me, my husband, our daughter, and visiting extended family members (when visiting and needing care) with great kindness, considerable professionalism and the utmost in medical services. Dr Sicking always provides a thorough exam, explanation and the medications necessary to combat whatever is "ailing" us. Not only has Dr Sicking been invaluable in our ongoing family medical needs, he has helped me control migraine headaches by working to establish a treatment program that works! This is something many years of costly specialists were unable to do. His office assistant is efficient, pleasant, and straightforward. She helps us control appointments, insurance copays and information. She's an invaluable asset to Dr Sicking. I highly recommend Dr Sicking to anyone looking for an honest, upfront, open, healthy physician-patient relationship in the Raleigh area.

Use this MD - have your head examined!!!. Dr. Sickening oh, I mean Sicking. Well, if you don't mind a doctor that you will probably know more than he does - by all means go to him. If, however, you want a medical professional that knows his stuff - he is not the MD you are looking for! He is the typical "doctor it hurts when I do this" doctor reply "well don't do that." Take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning.

His bedside manner is gruff and he rambles on and on and on - think he likes the sound of his own voice. I would not recommend him if you have anything other than a cold or a bruised knee! I have never written a review before about a doctor but I felt this necessary. I would not trust him with my children's health or my own for that fact. I starting going to him about a year and a half ago. Now, I have since moved but would not go to him anymore anyway. Yes, you will normally get in the same day - - his secretary, nurse, billing person, and all around girl Friday does not make you feel welcome at all. Maybe because he is too cheap to hire more staff and she is overworked. She seems to lack compassion - no people skills.

Bottom line, IMO, find another doctor!
