Do not judge all Steak n Shakes by this one!. Being from the Midwest, the home of Steak n Shake, I know what they are SUPPOSED to be like. I grew up on the steak burgers, skinny fries, and chili, and WHEN DONE CORRECTLY, they are delicious.

This steak and shake does not seem to know how it is done. The wait staff is inattentive and stretched too thin. They do not refill drinks in a timely manner and food is typically not served as ordered, with errors and omissions occurring regularly. Last time I was there I ordered a double cheeseburger and only received one meat patty. My husband ordered cheese on the side of his fries and it was poured on top, and we had to ask specifically for our waitress to bring out the chili I had ordered.

Steak n Shake is typically a good, reliable place to eat, but this location does not fall into that category. Corporate needs to do a refresher course, STAT!

Typical Poor Service Fast Food. Went through the drive through to get lunch. Took forever to get the food and of course, when we got home, it was the wrong order. Seems like all fast food places are the same, and I thought Steak and Shake may be a little different, but I was wrong. $20 for lunch and didn't get what we ordered. Won't go there again.

Poor service. Don't eat here unless you have 2 hours to eat dinner! I thought Steak n Shake was suppose to be a fast food place. This location is slow about everything! I've been to this location 3 times & the service is always horrible! I have decided to never eat at this location again! The reviews before me speak for themselves. I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience at this place. They really need to find more polite and quick waiters.

Manager Tony.... Just to start off I want everyone to know that for the most part, Steak n Shake is a decent place to eat with a GREAT GM and a good group of staff (the long timers) I give a rating of only one star due to the fact that this restaraunt is sooooooooo desperate for managers that they have to hire back some one like Tony, what the hey? If you want hire back good people, what ever happened to Manager Tonya, Bobby, or Mr. Leroy? If Tony is so great, with such high qualifications, why did he come crawling back to a job he walked out on?

Manager Tony has been known to be a rude and very unlikable person to customers, not to mention back stabbing to staff. no wonder NO ONE else would have him.......just remember old boy..what goes around comes around and you've got a couple comin..........

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Tonight, I went to Steak N' Shake with my family. We were expecting to be in and out in 30 minutes. We were there for 2 hours and FIVE sandwich remakes. The manager, Leroy Snead, copped an attitude with us. Our waiter, Liz, was wonderful and kept apologizing. We managed to get our meal comped, but we will never be coming back here and we will tell others to not come back.

Great burgers and Shakes. Unfornately, for us there is only one Steak and Shake in the Raleigh area. We hear that that will be changing in the next few years. We have eaten at this locale a few times in the past year and have yet to have a bad experience. Even the salads were great and it's a great value and family friendly.
