I ordered curbside 2 go at the Fuquay Varina, NC Applebees. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer which tasted like it was from a freezer and thawed up, nothing special want order again for the price go elsewhere. For my meal, I ordered the fried chicken salad, again nothing special there, you definitely get what you order, fried chicken, cheddar jack, and a boiled egg there's no extra special taste that leaves you wanting more...all I can say is try it at Red Robins and you want be saying the same.

Carside Service is a FAIL. We have really tried to like this Applebee's. We like the one in Boone and the one in Wilkesboro. But our own hometown one leaves a lot to be desired especially in the carry out division. We ordered a steak today medium rare and when we got home it was well done. We live only 2.5 miles from the restaurant. I called the manager and got a lot of excuses why it looked that way. He even said, "Sometimes the steak is cooked right but it just does not look that way?" Really? Wow - the stuff they will tell you. We ordered our food based on what we saw and read online and I did not get the vegetables pictured. Instead I got a lot of broccoli. Kind of disappointing when you are expecting yellow squash, zuchini, red peppers and broccoli. The manager made the experience the worst. When I call I expect any of the following answers:

1. I'm sorry you did not like your order, I hope you will come in and try us again. 2. Please bring your food back and we'll have a new steak done right ready for you to trade. 3. I'm so sorry your order was wrong, here is a giftcard for $x so you can try us again. Instead I got 4 excuses. I'm done. I'll take my hard earned $25 to any of the restaurants that line the streets instead.
