I had purchased the Groupon for any 3 spa services and 3 samlple products. I chose to use the slimcapsule, Red light therapy and 1 tanning session. To start off the girl was very nice. However it never said I had to Purchase a Sauna suit for capsule. In fact I had no idea until the girl said " that will be $3.74." Then they were out of the oil that is supposed to be used for the capsule, which was one of the FREE samples. I got in the capsule and the vibration part was not working. So when I got out I asked and the girl said " sometimes it just doesnt come on." For me 3 strikes in one visit and I will NOT be back.

Great tanning beds but awful staff. Put in their computer the wrong package when i bought my membership and then refused to change it when the mistake was caught. Pretty much scammed $150 from me.

Great Service! Helpful information.. I have never had to pay so much to tan. I used to tan at a gym for less than half what I paid here but the beds are kept up. Not one speck of dust and the staff are helpful. It's pricey but if you have it it's worth it.

I got the low & medium beds for 3 months for $125. Buy goggles and lotion at Sally"s Beauty supply. I paid $5 at Planet for goggles, Sally's $3. Anyone that has ever tanned you know the "Salon" lotions can run up to $100+ a bottle. I bought a bottle for $10 at Sally's. It's worth the $10 I paid for it.

Worst service, DO NOT TAN here. Do not waste your time buying a tanning package here. The girls are extremely rude, provide no customer service, and constantly nag you to buy products or upgrade your bed. I will not return to this facility once my contract is up.

Horrible Experience, Don't waste your time!. I have been tanning for over 5 years and this was the worst experience I have ever had. I signed up for a one year package and every time I go in the salon the beds are not available even if I make an appointment. 80% of the time I go to the salon I end up leaving without a bed (1. some are broken 2. someone else has an appointment and is coming in soon or 3. the rest of the beds are full) it is always something. Tanning has always been a very relaxing experience for me and at Planet Beach it has now turned into a very frustrating process. I have tried to speak with management on numerous occasions but, of course, there is NEVER a manager there and my concerns have never been addressed. After all was said and done I just requested to be let out of my contract, I do not have the time to go to the bed and never get a tan. The staff refused to let me out of the contract and were incredibly rude. The girls that work there just seem miserable; they always have the worst attitudes. Anyway, this was the last straw, I pressed for a refund, even a pro-rated refund, but not only did the girl refuse, the girl at the front desk told me she could not call the manager because she knew he would say no. Again I asked the girl just please call the manager. The girl said in a very rude way, "Lady, just go home, make an appointment and come back, okay." With that I said never mind and left the store. I will NEVER go back, and they can keep my money, it is not worth it! The staff at Planet Beach have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and the management team is non-existent. Please, save yourself some time and money, and tan somewhere else.

awesome place!!!!. Planet Beach in Apex, NC is the greastest! I love going here & the staff is always great! I previously went to the Planet Beach in Cary Park and was told I couldnt tan because I didnt have my eyewear, but you guys are always helpful on those days when I have previously switched my purse the night before and dont' have my eyewear, you always have those extra goggles for me to barrow and other Planet Beach clients to use also. Thanks Apex Planet Beach

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!. I LOVE THIS SALON! The staff is great. I look forward to coming to Planet Beach in Apex after a long day at work. Not only is the staff great but the equipment exceeds the competition. Keep up the GREAT work!!!!

Awesome Job. I've been tanning for 3 years and have been tanning at this salon for 2 years. I absolutely love it and would never want to go anywhere else. It is also so clean, and the staff is very helpful and knows what they are talking about. The bulbs are always changed regularly and work really well. I have an amazing tan and always get lots of compliments on it, the mystic tan is very good as well! I would suggest tanning here to everyone I know! The prices are good too!!!

Best Tanning/Spa you can find in Apex/Raleigh. I have been tanning at many different places and Planet Beach is the best. The Apex Planet Beach has an awesome staff who are a pleasure to come and see each trip to the Spa. You can't find a better place to tan and spa in Apex. All the Equipment is top notch and very clean. Every time I come in it feels like they just put new lamps in the beds. Apex is one of the best Planet Beach's in the triangle.
