Run Don't Walk Serious YUM Factor. Run don't walk here. We went armed with a Citipass coupon to check out a new place for dinner.....and it was one of the most amazing meals I have had in a very very long time. Everything was incredible and the portions were so big that we have enough for lunch (and maybe dinner again) tomorrow. We sat outside on the patio and the meal along with the outside atmosphere made for an amazing experience. Very very well executed menu.…
Best Indian Food.
What a restuarant.. great food, good service. My favorite, CTM and Kararee Bhindi (Hope, I spelled it right)..
I travel a lot and have been to quite a few Indian restuarants.. this one stands out the best.
I am back in town now and will be here for next 2 weeks. I thought of googling to see new resturants around the corner.Just came across some of the comments about Saffron in Morissville.
I see some comments below that too on Valentines day, I was eating with my girlfriend that day.Yes, it was quite busy and everyone were overwhelmed.
Since food came late, they offerred free apetizers and drinks to us and to my next table. We both accepted it as a compliment.
Not sure, they are the same people writing bad comments. if they are same people, I suggest, have some decency, Accept free things and then write bad about a succefull Indian resturant is not good.
For all, please try this amazing restuarant before reading any of the comments.…
What is the deal?.
I would like to say that I could express an opinion on the food, but I can't. Last night we went to celibrate our anniversary and was very suprized. I have eaten there before and found the food
very nice. Last night after an hour and a half we never received anything. After a very long wait we got up to leave and were told if we stayed we would get our drinks for free. The drinks had not mde it to the table in an hour so we left.
I will never return.
On a side note: four other tables left while we waited.…
Poor Service and Zero Value, this is your place.
I mean, what happened! I am a repeat customer who lives 2 mins from this restaurant. I am acquainted with the people that work there and have never had an issue. Well, I guess that is because the
times that I go, there are only two other to 4 other tables, tops. I am pretty easy to please with some Chicken Tikka Masala and a Jack on the rocks. But boy, I am so unimpressed after this evening. " The Valentine's Special Menu was absolutely terrible.
$35 for "the special menu"- that turned out to be the most underwhelming meal I have ever seen( because- it was so small). Not to mention, the food was cold and just crappy.
( When typically it is really great). I am thinking, Is this a case of greed? Are they thinking, how can we milk our customers out of more money for less because it is a holiday, (Valentine's Day).
Ultimately we tried to resolve the situation, because we are still hungry at this point, by order food to-go. Let me stress that I have never even felt compelled to write a review on city search or get up and leave a restaurant disappointed. They offered us a shitty deal- $10 off and two free beers and still we paid $65.00. And our to-go tikka masala was watered down- literally.
So, just to let you know-we offered to pay for the two beers and our to-go meal. We were trying to be equitable.
Never going back again!!
On a side note 4 tables around us left because they weren't even served. And one table bitched to us about the shitty service because they had been there an hour and no service.…
Good food, terrible service.
My husband and I were so excited to try Saffron for the first time this past weekend, but were very disappointed in the service! The hostess was very friendly, but the wait staff looked completely
miserable to be at work. It took 15 minutes for our waiter to bring us a glass of wine (not sure why since there were only 2-3 other couples in the restaurant) and we had to ask three times just to get a side of yogurt/cucumber sauce.
All negatives aside, the food was great. I loved the Chicken Korma and my husband raved about the Chicken Vindaloo. Unfortunately, I just don't think it is enough to get us to go back a second time. Maybe take-put from now on?…
