Happy Hair!. I have the type of hair that is thin, breaks easily and is very temperamental. My hair grows slow and all I desire is long hair. When I had hair extensions Samina was the only one who knew how to cut them. Now that I have been without extensions for two years now, growing my hair has been a task. Samina, the salon owner, is one of few who gets it. I recently strayed from her and boy did I regret it, but Samina took me right back with a smile and fixed the disaster I didn't think could be fixed. I HIGHLY recommend this salon. Not only is the staff very friendly but they listen and understand how to proceed in making their client happy....and to top it off going to see them won't break the bank. They use Wella color which is gentle on my hair (won't break it off) and I recently bought the whole line of Wella products for home and I love them! Thanks eSTee for making me feel pretty again and listening. You guys rock, and I am one picky girl!

Great Salon!. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone! I saw Tonianne for the first time and she was very helpful. She was patient and listened to the style that I was hoping to achieve. She took her time and did a wonderful job! I have already had several compliments on my new look!

Fantastic salon in north Raleigh!. I sincerely recommend Estee Salon on Six Forks Road at Sawmill Road in north Raleigh. I have tried several salons and stylists over the years, but this is the first time I am truly happy with my hair style. I have very thin, fine hair which was unruly when I started seeing stylist Krysti Leitner. Krysti has transformed my look and she has given me my "signature" hair style. Today after I left the salon a lady at the mall made a point to tell me how much she liked my haircut. Estee Salon's prices are lower than some of the other salons I am gone to, however, the end result is priceless!

Worst customer service ever. I purchased a haircut through a silent auction. I was looking for a new salon in this area and was hoping this one would work out. I called a couple weeks in advance and made an appointment for a Friday afternoon, to which I arrived 15 minutes early. I was told Adrian had left 30 minutes ago and there was no one else to cut my hair. There was a guy who could cut it and he wasn't there but was 'probably somewhere in the shopping center still'. I was told that they had tried to call my cell phone, however my cell phone never rang. If they had tried to call my cell phone prior to Adrian leaving and obviously couldn't reach me why didn't they line up this mysterious 'guy' hanging out in the shopping center THEN to be there for my appointment. No apology. Nothing. I emailed the salon that night to express my dissatisfaction and was never responded to (this was a week ago). Needless to say I will never go back and this silent auction item that was purchased is useless.

adrian did a great job. I loved how adrian cut my hair! she knew exactly how it would look the best, and i was very satisfied. she even blew it out straight as part of the included price.

Pleasantly Suprised. First time going and I used my living social deal. Tonianne was good and even informed me of a previously misdiagnosed hair issue. I did have to wait a while to get my hair cut, and almost had to come back since they tried calling me to let me know they overbooked.

Overall I was very pleased with my hair cut and glad tonianne was patient and gave me the look I wanted. Going back for sure!

new client. Very good experience at Estee Salon. Pleasant atmosphere. Tonianne did a great job on my hair!

I went from very dark brown with highlights back to blonde. It will be a "work in progress", but Tonianne knows her "stuff" and look forward to my next appointment with her.

Tonianne, awesome cut, iffy on highlights. I had a haircut and partial highlights done months ago by Tonianne. I have very long hair and wanted layers in the "U" shape style with long side bangs. Tonianne did an amazing job on the cut. Probably the best cut I've had shape-wise and style. (I keep my hair long.)

However, the highlights were not to my liking. My hair is black-brown, and the color for highlights I chose was a dark yet rich brown. The highlights came out blond. Gah! It almost looked like gray hair from afar. A couple of weeks later, I realized the color wasn't going to fade any, so I just dyed my whole head black from a box.

Very soon, I'm going to make another appt with Tonianne for a haircut. I noticed that she has some glowing reviews on highlights here. So maybe I was just a fluke. She is a lovely girl, and I most definitely look forward to going back to her for my cut. Thanks!

Tonianne. I loved my experience at Estee with Tonianne. I am actually going back today for a dramatic change and I am not nervous at all.

Another BAD SALON WITH CRAZY, CATTY WOMEN!!!. I had to write a review in regard to Annie. I see she gets alot of good feedback but I didn't have a good experience. I went to Annie the first time, last year in 2010 for several months. Not long after, my hair was was shedding. It shed to the point of concern. I have naturally long hair. It's pretty fine and I am African American. I wanted to find out if it was Annie's fault so I went to a different salon. Guess what? My hair thickened up some and didn't shed so much. It was much healthier after several months. I went back to Annie which was dumb of me. My stylist left the last salon and I was without a stylist for a short time. I go back to Annie in June of 2011 and guess what after 2 weeks. Hair is shedding again. I do not get perms so the only possible reason is she is leaving shampoo or something in my hair. I also noticed she put a lot of heat on the roots of my hair or my scalp when she was drying my hair. She focused on a certain area and I had hair coming out by the root in that area. It kind of burned the hair considering again my hair is fine. She think I don't know this. She thinks she's so sneaky and intelliigent but you know what. What goes around comes back around when you do evil. That's why she don
