we will miss you BISTRO!. We've been dining at Bistro 64 since before the Massey's purchased it (it was Cosmopolitians then); so loooong time and many many dinners. We prefer the bar, but the dining room is beautiful and our favorite server, Honey, is always in the dining room - but she manages to pop in and say hello and thank us for joining them every time we go. We've never had bad service there. Even when the bar was slammed, the servers were working as hard as they possibly could. The food - wow - great across the board. And we've used the City pass and TWONGO coupons there many times and never had an issue. Even when our TWONGO was expired, they still accepted it. We LOVED the entertainment in the bar and were esp happy when they added the t.v. (ACC sports!) in the bar and a burger to the bar menu. We wish ALL the employees and owners there the very best and we will truly miss the great food and service we received there.…
Terrible Meal and Dining Experience. Terrible dining experience this evening. My husband and I both concur that our dinner at Bistro 64 was skimpy in portion, bland and uninspired in taste, and overpriced! To boot the bread was stale and they made a mistake on our order. Avoid this restaurant if you want value and service.…
83 sanitation rating?. My daughter and I dined at Bistro a few days before thanksgiving and I spent the whole thanksgiving holiday sick to my stomach and not able to move much from the bathroom. As I was sitting at home today my daughter called me and told me about the wral sanitation grades and that Bistro had more then 15 things wrong, including improper food handling. I guess my thoughts were probably right that I got sick from the bistro. We will not return and will hope other do the same. Displeased greatly. Johnny…

Menu mispresents entrees.
Several friends and I went to this restaurant in MacGregor Village to kick off a member-guest golf weekend. The menu appeared to offer an interesting selection of entrees; however, apparently the
food writer and food stylist (for the restaurant's web page)didn't communicate with the chef. I ordered "Grilled Scottish “Loch Duart” Salmon over a vine riped tomato, cucumber and fresh basil salad with a honeycup mustard vinaigrette and topped with zesty onion straws." What came to the table was a serious mound (3-4 cups) of "onion straws" under a piece of salmon. A few sliced tomatoes and cucumbers were included around the bottom edge of the onion mountain. Basil was nowhere to be found. ( It looked nothing like the entree picture on the website.) When I asked the waiter about the discrepancies in my dish, he said it was a "deconstructed salad". He said the basil must be under the onion mountain.....gave it a serious look and couldn't find even one small chiffonade of basil. So he offered to take the salmon and put it over "fresh greens with basil". Brought it back...still no basil. I asked if the kitchen was out of basil and he said no he could get some for me if that's what I wanted with my salmon! The fish had been nicely cooked, unfortunately, by the time I was able to take a bite it was cold. When the dessert menu came, the waiter indicated my dessert would be "on him". I only wanted coffee . Besides, the most expensive dessert was only $6.95 and my entree was $26. When the bill came, there was no adjustment for the misrepresented entree, delay of my meal and resulting cold entree. The waiter was very cavalier and said he would "let the manager know about my disappointment" in the meal (when he came in the next day!).
A very unsatisfactory meal with equally unsatisfactory service.…
