The incredible experience at Porto

I noticed the citysearch signs on porto's door. decided to come on here and relay my experience of working with Porto. They have one of the biggest selctions of furniture in the triangle. They have quality peices for a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere. I know good quality furniture and the prices you pay for the peices you get at porto are remarkible. It's a great place to go if you're working on a budget, or if you just want excellent furnitre.

Just the design experience alone is enough to set them apart. One of the designers from the Raleigh store came to my house and had great ideas. and for the first time i had a decorator who listened to me and what I wanted. He made me think outside the box as well. and showed me a few things I would have never thought of doing. It did take awhile to recieve my peices which I was already prepared for before I perchased. But i never once had to call to check up. the salesperson i was working with called me on a regular schedule to inform me on where we stood in the process..

The store itself is a beautiful place to walk into and just look around. Even without furnitre Porto would be great place to just walk into too look around. but all the great furniture from around the world just makes it an experience you'll never forget and want to tell everyone about.

The experience and knowledge the staff has at Porto is incredible you wont find a place like Porto where you get the full experience. Great service, Great furniture, Great Ideas, all at a great price..

I have pleanty more to do to my house. and I'm 100% confident that Porto well keep giving me the experience i've been telling you about.

• Cons: Parking seemed to be an issue.

It doesn't get any better than this

I'm frankly stunned by a recent "review" of Porto by someone who claims to have had a less than delightful experience ordering furniture there. My experience couldn't be more different. I've gotten furniture and original art from Porto (the Raleigh location). And I rest happy in the knowledge that my pieces are of such high, handcrafted quality that I will someday pass them on to my chlidren as heirlooms -- just as my mother and grandmother before me did. The shopping and ordering process was also pure pleasure. Emily Barrett is one of the sweetest, most helpful people/interior designers I've ever met. She worked tirelessly with me to make sure I was happy with my purchases and that they would be the right complement for my existing decor. Couldn't have done it without her! To hear someone calling her "rude" or "unethical" is so opposite my experience that I find it, well, unbelievable, frankly. Go to High Point when the finest quality home furnishings and accessories are available right here, in Porto? No way. If you want fine furniture from a beautiful showroom where knowledgeable designers will help you make the right purchases for your decor and your lifestyle, head to Porto. Enough said.
