IATRIA closes...Hope we can help!. Hello all!! My name is Joemary Rodriguez and am so sorry to hear about the loss of IATRIA. I currently work for Douglas Carroll salon and Spa and the salon is honoring gift certificates at 25% at a time until the full amount is used up. Please call the salon @ 919-876-5411 to set up an appt or for more info about how to redeem your gift certificates. I am from NY and have a lot of experience with both nails and hair. I am an award winning nail technician who also is a master hair stylist. I am your one stop shop. I am also certified in Brazilian keratin treatments and also work on ethnic hair. Skip this place. I was five minutes late for an appointment and the front desk was snippy and wouldn't let me keep it. And, there was no one waiting in the waiting area for anything. The Iatria on Creedmoor Road is far superior. Even though it's a longer rive for me to get there than to the one in Wakefield I will make the trip.

A Wonderful Facial Experience. WOW...I had the best facial ever from Charlie at the Wakefield location. I have been to several destination spas as well as to numerous spas in the Triangle. She gave me the BEST facial I have ever had! I did not feel like the appointment was rushed and she gave an excellent facial massage, and I truly mean excellent. I almost fell asleep...in fact I did for a few minutes...her touch is amazing! She was also very knowledgeable on my skin care concerns and so professional! I have always struggled with my skin...breakouts even as an adult...days after this facial I saw a definite improvement. I will be back in the future to see Charlie!

Won't go back.. I got a half day of beauty for a gift and was not impressed. I got lost trying to find it, and called to tell them and they didn't hold my first appointment. Got half a facial, an awesome massage and then was led to the waiting room in my half robe and promptly forgotten for 30 minutes. I had to go out front in my robe to find out what was going on-and they didn't really make up for it either. I won't go back.

Best Spa Experience. I'm originally from Charleston, SC. I've been to a couple of spas here in the Triangle area, but I never felt the sheer euphoria I received from the Charleston area spas... until I went to the Iatria Day Spa in Wakefield! One of my best experiences.... I highly recommend this location! If you go for a facial, go see Jenny! She's the best!

Spa @ Wakefield Crossings. I was so pleased at the Wakefield Crossings location of Iatria. Not only did I feel welcomed but I was amazed at the pampering. Once I was back for my massage I felt very relaxed and my massage therapist was aware of my needs.

I would definitely go back for any of their services...!!

A full-service Raleigh day spa, which features special treatments such as the popular basalt-stone massage, in a soothing ambience.. The Scene
Turn off your cell phone (it's mandatory) and be soothed by the dimly lit massage rooms and hypnotic new-age music. A brief wait in the lounge allows you to decompress with a cup of herbal tea before turning yourself over to capable hands. Massage therapists are artful in their work and free with their advice--telling you how to get rid of that lower-back pain on your own, for example. You'll walk away feeling rejuvenated and little more savvy about your muscles.

The Services
Iatria's got all the standards--pedicures, facials and a range of massages--plus some specialties. The popular 90-minute basalt-stone massage uses hot stones to penetrate cranky muscles and melt away tension. A couple's massage lets you share the moment. When you're finished, have some fun shopping out front. Herbal supplements and playful plastic sandals are among the wares.

The Details
Manicure/pedicure, hair removal, massage, facials, medi-spa treatments, full-service salon.
