I have been going to this salon for many years and their services are always reasonable and consistently excellent. Prior to going to Blake and Sandy at this salon, I had a lot of difficulty with getting predictable good results with color and it was frustrating. At Salon Kroma the color is perfect every time, looks natural, and my hair is healthy! I couldn't ask for a better salon. The staff is attentive and courteous.

RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION. I would rather walk across a bed of broken glass than return this salon! Run in the other direction and save yourself a LOT of $$$$$

hard to say. The styilist owner and receptionist were so incredibly sweet it's hard to give less than 5 stars but there were a couple of things that could have made it much better. I called earlier in to day and asked if i could get a dimensionsal full head color with a cut and style appointment in that day. I knew it was a long shot so I told the receptionist if it was too much, I was looking for at least the full head dimensional color. She told me she'd check and confirmed the whole request was doable a couple hours later. I went in for my appointment and the receptionist greeted me with a great big smile and directed me to my stylist. I don't want to name names here as I more want them to use this for improvement than to single anyone out considering how sweet they are. For my haircut, which was slightly below the shoulder when I came in, I asked for an angled bob. I told her a liked a dramatic angle. When I explained to her that I wanted allover highlights and lowlights, she told me she didnt have time for a full color. I told her I asked for this on the phone but she was not informed apparently. This was very disappointing considering I'd already arranged my baby sitter and that's hard for me to do. The color was the only thing I really was specific about on the phone and wouldnt have made the appt if they couldnt do it. Reluctantly I told the stylist ok then just get as many highlights in as she could. She was really sweet and kept the conversation going the entire time. She and the receptionist were both so friendly he whole time that I was over whelmed by their kindness and on the way out, I didn't notice that there was no angle to my short bob which was the second whammy bc was it short all around and I only gave only for the back to be that length. I specifically said I wanted to keep the length in front. Unfortunately, despite my 4 stars and how incredibly comfortable I was at this salon, I would personally not be able to return here.

A wonderful experience.... I have not been to a salon since 1984, After many, many disappointments with haircuts, I took on the task of cutting my own hair since then. Always having a short cut, I decided to grow out to a more sophisticated bob.

From the time I made the appointment, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Based on what my needs were and my hair type she set an appointment with Jackie.

I was comfortable with Jackie right from the start. She took a lot of time with me before beginning the process. She understood what I wanted and I felt comfortable with her expertise.

I was not disappointed. I could not have been more pleased. She was just the best. After 2 days, my hair still looks great!!!

I have found someone who understands, listens and delivers a great haircut. I can't wait to go back for trims. Jackie is the best!!! I would highly recommend this salon - it rates an A++ in my book .

Best of all!!!. I got my hair cut from here today and would give this salon a very nice rating.After a long time, i got good hair cut from here.Jamie framed my hair really well.I am very satisfied and would visit here again!!

Really?. I have been to the salon once before and received great service from Blake (who is awesome!!), even though she had to deal with my curly hair! This time I had a different stylist, Alisha, and my experiance was, well, eh.

I was having blue highlights put in and the way she paneled them you can't even see them. I did tell her that I Never part my hair, but she paneled for a part (something I did not realize until after I left the salon). The darker tones of blue were supposed to "lighten up", something that didn't happen even though I have shampooed more than I do in a month. Also, my hair is very curly and she kept pulling it-leaving me with a splitting headache.

Again, I'd recommend Blake to anyone; she's gentle and knows exactly what you want!

fantastic salon in cary. Tried salon kroma after receiving a tip from a friend and I could not be happier. Blake did a fantastic job listening to my concerns and what I was looking for- she made some suggestions for my fine hair which allowed my hair to look fuller. The Graduated concave bob she gave me was by far the best I have ever received. The compliments kept on coming from my friends to my husband, who doesnt even like short hair. I was so pleased that I listened to my friend, tried the salon and was paired up with the talented Blake. (check out the bathroom while you are there...it is very nicely decorated...just like the rest of the salon.)

Jamie is the best!. Jamie is the best! Jamie has been my stylist for the last two years and I can't imagine going to any one else.

She always knows just what I want and what would look best on me. I always get compliments on my cut and color and I know it's because of Jamie.

I would recommend Jamie and Salon Kroma to anyone. The salon is very trendy and the staff is always friendly.

Two thumbs up.... Two thumbs up to Salon Kroma. They're in a convenient location, have friendly staff, and a unique salon theme.

My stylist, Jamie, recently joined their staff so I'm new to the salon but feel like I've been going there for years. Jamie is one of the best in the area. Everyday I get compliments on how great my color looks and how flattering the cut is. That's b/c Jamie tailors each cut to fit her client's daily schedule, preferences and styling habits. She knows that I refuse to use product every day and spend the time blow drying it, so she gave me more layers to look like I took that extra time. She's truly THAT GOOD!!

Gene rocks!. I have naturally curly/wavy hair, medium texture, that really just needed some love. I've been going to another pretty high-end salon in Cary for quite some time, but I always felt kind of awkward with my relatively shy stylist, and the fact that she never works on weekends was inconvenient for me.

I'm always adventurous with scissors, and a few months back i decided to give myself some side bangs. I did a pretty good job, but the time had come for me to hand over the shears to someone who knew what he was doing.

Anyway, I called Salon Kroma thanks to the great reviews, and got an appointment for about 20 minutes later. I got there and met Gene, a laid-back guy who is very friendly and talkative. He asked me what I wanted him to do with my hair, how much I wanted cut off, etc. He spent about an hour and fifteen minutes working on my hair, so I felt like my haircut was actually important to him rather than him rushing through it.

I'm very particular with how I style my hair, and I had to go somewhere after my cut so I couldn't go home and re-style it, so I told Gene I wanted to do something different with it. To my relief, he wasn't offended or anything, and had no problem handing over the straightener and letting me (and the awesome receptionist :D) get it to where I liked it.

Well today is day two of having it cut, and I can honestly say I'M OBSESSED WITH IT! It's so light, and my curls are beautifully accentuated and bounce around happily.

I will definitely be returning to Gene for my next cut. He and the entire Salon Kroma staff are really great people who are good at what they do.
