Great experience even though the outcome wasn't. Being somewhat new to the area, I found myself in a bad spot. My computer died! From what I could tell, the hard drive crashed. I checked with friends at work, the phone book, and even online for a computer repair shop that could replace my hard drive and help me start a data restore from an external drive. I finally decided to call BooSnap based on the reviews I read and their competitive prices. I called and Scott was at my house within a few hours. He was ontime, professional, and courteous. As it turned out, I also had a power supply issue, which may have affected other parts of my computer. I asked for his professional opinion and he said I would be better off getting a new computer, which I planned to do but wanted to get my old one up and running for a little while longer. I was willing to spend a certain amount for repairs and he could have easily kept working, trying to salvage something, charging me more in the meantime, but in the end I think all I would have gotten out of it would be a huge bill and a dead computer. Scott appeared apologetic that he couldn't do more and even offered some tips on retrieving some files from by backups. Because of his honesty and professionalism, I would highly recommend BooSnap for any computer help/repair.
Quick response and professional service. BooSnap responded quickly to my call for service. The repair person was professional and prompt and fixed a nagging problem with my computer that prevented me from viewing DVD's.Highly Recommended!!!

Listen, these guys are phenomenal.
Two days after I call, my computer is fixed and I never even had to bring my PC anywhere. At first I thought that the service fee for at home repair was going to be nuts, but I've had to pay at least 50 dollars more elsewhere just for some measly virus removal.
I even showed up to my house late and Marty wasn't even grumpy. He was a complete professional and did some top notch work.
I won't go anywhere else from now on and my next PC will be purchased through BooSnap as well.

Disappointed in Service. BooSnap has been a disappointment. The worse thing a business can do is not to return service calls/emails. The first time it happened, they said their phone service was having problems. After they changed their service, they still did not return phone calls or emails. I tried to have them come back to work on a problem but couldn't get any response. I wrote to them on March 16, explaining that I got no response to 3 emails and 2 voicemails over a period a over a month, and that it was the third time this happened since I originally hired him over a year ago. Again, I didn't get a response. At this point, I would not use them again.
I will be the first person to admit that emails and phone calls have slipped through the cracks, not for lack of trying though. Our Citysearch rating has been a blessing for business, but at times it has made us too busy. We are a small shop and try to get to everyone who contacts us, however there are not always enough hours in a day. This has regretfully happened to this customer, but it is not representative of how we perform as a whole.
Forget the geeks and dogs, call Boosnap. I can't recommend Mark enough. My computer was totally "goobered" up. I had tried everything I could think of to solve the problem. I called at 10:00AM and was scheduled for service at 12:00 noon. At approximately 11:45AM I recieved a call from Mark explaining a phone call had run long, and letting me know he might be about 10 minutes late. For any of you that have waited for phone/cable/power/appliance repairmen who give you normally a four hour window of when they "might" show up, this was most refreshing. As I told Mark, in a world where the service industry has become an oxymoron, it was a true pleasure working with his company. For those of you with a few years on you, like myself, you remember what it was like to deal with companies that truly knew how to provide superior service. By 2:00PM Mark was walking out the door, having fixed my problem, recommending products to protect my computer (available on-line and not pushed by him for a commission), and taught me the processes needed to properly maintain my system. Boosnap provides an unbelievable level of service, in this era where service is a rarity. Forget the geeks and the dogs, call Boosnap.

My laptop had crashed and Boosnap got me up and running again in two days! They were courteous, fast, and did the job for the price they said. We are very happy and will certainly call them if we ever have any problems in the future.

Hands down the best Computer Service we have ever used!.
Mark and the Boosnap staff are timely, very knowledgable and quick to address our computer and server needs. They are pleasant to deal with and their prices are very competitive! I particularly like the fact that Boosnap takes pride in all the work they do, and they put the customer's interests in the forefront.
