What is with the attitude??????

You'd think they don't need the business the way they treat their customers. A friend of mine asked me tonight for a recommendation for a good mexican place on capital blvd. I made the mistake of suggesting this place. I was horrified to hear their waitress treated them badly by rolling her eyes at them multiple times and then ignored them for 20 minutes, until they finally got up and left. After reading the reviews, I'd say NOTHING has changed and management still doesn't care. I'll never return and I'll never again suggest this dump to anybody.

They are back in business

For a while this place was a little on my bad side but, now they have a made a big change their service is great and they have really good authentic mexican food, they have handmade tortillas, and all there food is amazing the longest menu ive ever seen and alot of variety in their platters really good seafood. Eventhough their staff are short in english they are really nice and the savoring food makes up for this.

• Pros: Great authentic mexican food
• Cons: some of the staff arent really good with english

I was also there Saturday evening and the manager was disrespectful

I stopped with my family to for dinner and one of the managers (the one whose hair sticks up) and he was very disrespectful. I asked from a non smoking table because of my kids and we were also taken to a smoking section because the rest was full. He basically told us that we didn't have a choice and we either sat there or leave. So we left. We did not try the food so I can't say if it's good or not but I do not recommend anyone going.

Very rude waitstaff

I enjoy eating at Mexican restaurants with my friends and since Vallarta is open 24 hours we went there late Saturday night. After we were seated, our waitress came by to take our order and seem distracted from the beginning with watching the t.v., she even brought us the wrong drinks. When taking our order, she would roll her eyes at us and make rude remarks on the food. Although the food was ok I don't think that we will go back again because of the impoliteness of the staff.

• Cons: Waitstaff is not polite

Worst customer service I've ever had

I went in to have dinner with my boyfriend and was not even welcome nor seated by the wait staff until about 10 minutes afterwards. When they finally seated us they took us to the smoking section without asking if we wanted to sit there. I told the lady that we could wait a while longer until there was a table in the non-smoking section. She left and came back with the manager who basically told us to either sit there in the smoking section or leave. The manager was very rude and disrespectful.

• Pros: Open 24 hours
• Cons: Most servers are rude and disrespectful. It takes a long time for the food to come out.
