Nowhere Else I’d Rather Be Watching My Giants. If you haven’t been to Hi5, at least to watch a game, you need to. The place is filled with TVs and like-minded sports fans. They even have their own free fantasy football league with prizes each week. Really one of the best places in the Triangle to watch a game.

Great Hangout Spot, Period.. I started frequenting Hi5 last year after I was told all of their food on the menu was $5. Not only is it actually pretty tasty, but it turns out that it’s a great little underground sports bar too. All of the booths have miniature flat screen TVs, a serious plus during football, hockey and basketball seasons.

Cheap food, expensive booze. The food is great...they just get to compensate how much money they lose from it, with over charging on drinks. I would rather go somewhere else where everything evens out!

Great place to watch the game. My friends and I were looking for a good place to watch the games this weekend and one of them mentioned Hi5, so we decided to go there. This place is an awesome place to watch the games – I mean each booth has its own flat screen. Hi5 is my new spot to watch the games and would highly recommend it.

Pleasant Surprise. Hi5 $5 menu

Recently some co-workers and I were looking for a place to go grab some dinner and a few drinks ? we decided on Hi5. I had been there before to have drinks but never for dinner, well I was really impressed. I could not believe their entire menu was only $5 and would recommend their Stuffed Burger.

Just Ridiculous. I visited hi-5 with my friends for the first time for my birthday in january and may i say that it was the WORST time I have ever had. I had visited the red room and had a great time but many people said hi-5 was better. We left a good time and stepped into a HELL HOLE! First of all, we had to wait in the cold for almost an hour because we had on coats (it was 35 degree weather) and the coat check was full and coat check is mandatory. The bartender charged us twice for drinks. The music was horrible and when the dj played a good song, you couldn't enjoy yourself because the room was so smoky that your eyes burned. Guys were pushing us all over the floor and jumping up smacking hands with their homeboys. All in all, i will not recommend hi-5 to anyone but smokers and those who are paying cash for your drinks. Maybe you won't get charged twice. It was a horrible experience and I will, from now on, stick to the Red Room and Bogarts.

It's gone downhill!!. My husband and I use to go to Hi 5 for the Kobe beef burgers at least once a week. When we first started going a year ago, things were fine... GREAT food, good customer service and nice local beers on tap that you couldn't get anywhere else.

That was a year ago, now everything has changed.

After our first extremely disappointing experience 6 months ago, we decided to give it 3 more tries.

In those 3 tries, we received the wrong food, over cooked food and extremely awful service that made me feel sorry for our server in general.

Having worked as a waitress for a majority of my life, I can honestly say that the turn over rate for waitstaff for this restaurant has something to do with the management and the lack of motivation and sense of pride the workers have for this establishment.. and it clearly shows!

Hi 5 had the potential and drive at one time to be amazing.. however, somewhere and somehow, it all went downhill. It saddens me that my husband and I have to now find a nice place that serves big, juicy burgers by a worker that is attentive and timely when approaching their tables.

There is noway in hell I would recommend anyone who values a good dining experience to go to Hi 5.

Porters on Hillsborough St, however, has been an acceptable replacement.

We have found our new Tuesday night hang out.. I recently went with a group of friends to Hi5 on a Tuesday night ? they had the most amazing special ? Everything behind the bar was $4, I mean everything Patron to Grey Goose. We have found our new Tuesday night hang out.

I recently went to Hi5 and loved this place!. I recently went to Hi5 and loved this place! With a huge bar and epic TV?s, how can you not have fun? The 5 dollar price tags on everything on the menu don?t hurt either. Food: check, TV?s: check, Dance Floors: check! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to go to have fun in Glenwood South.
