Got the wrong food. Ordered 2 things from Hectors through Raleigh Take Out. The new guy at Hectors gave me the wrong food on one item and disregarded the custom message on the other item in my order. The manager was sorry and would remake my order but had no way to deliver a corrected order to my hotel.

Raleigh Take Out charged 5.99 plus tip for delivery,was pleasant when I called to complain. I asked for my money back and I am still waiting for resolution. My advise is to ask up front ,"what happens if I get the wrong food"? Who is responsible for redelivery?

Never got my food. The first time I used Raleigh Take Out, everything was fine - timely delivery, hot food, friendly delivery guy.

However, last night was a different story. I was quoted 45 min. After an hour and 15 minutes, I called Raleigh Takeout. The snotty young girl who answered said flippantly "He should be there any minute". No big deal...sometimes they get lost, and my house does get passed easily. However, after another 20 minutes passed, I still did not have food. I called them back, and they were CLOSED. Seriously?? I left a voicemail telling what happened with my name and number...no one called me the next day.

I called them at 1 PM and told what happened. The guy's response was "wow that's weird"... He did tell me that they zeroed out my order, and I was not charged. (I will be checking up on that!) He made excuses for them and said "sometimes they get delayed and the order never goes out..." I mentioned that it would have been cool if someone had called and let me know, but he honestly did not seem to care.

I wasn't looking for a freebie or gift certificate (though that would be nice), but I never once even got a half-heatred "sorry about that"...nothing! I am normally one of those "too nice" people who never complains, but this was just BS! I've worked in many a restaurant and this is NOT customer service. Big thumbs down to these jerks!

Wish I Had Thought Of This!. What is better than ordering a great meal from a typically busy sit down food joint, a six pack of beer, and having someone bring it right to your house? There is a small delivery fee, but when you weigh the option of getting ready to go out, driving, waiting, paying the bill, tipping, and then driving home it works out all the same without any of the hassle. I highly suggest this to busy stay at home moms and dads, people stuck in their offices at work, or students going through long cram sessions. You get a huge variety of food to choose from also, from Indian to BBQ to Pizzas, delivery has come a long way. Thanks Raleigh Take-Out for being in existence!

yes. awesome. fast. great choice of many restaurants. I was very happy with everything. i heard about this service because of the one in chapel hill and the raleigh one get my high five!

I love Raleigh Take Out!. As a working mother of 3, this website is a dream come true. Everyone in my household always wants something different for dinner, and when I have NO time to cook, this makes it happen. easy to order and easy to use, and the girl who usually takes our order is very helpful and friendly. Raleigh Take Out = you are our hero!

Wow! Bunch of Different Restaurants and BEER & WINE DELIVERED right to my door!. I just discovered the greatest service in Raleigh! Raleigh Take Out com! I had a hot MELLOW MUSHROOM PIZZA and a Cold 6 pack of Blue Moon Delivered tonight - HOW COOL IS THAT!!? We Love it! It was easy to order, and it arrived faster than the time I was quoted. Thanks for creating such a wonderful service in the area.

Cold food, slow service and nasty phone people. It seems convenient until you actually use this expensive service. It look 90 minutes for my cold food to arrive. The driver said he was quitting because they are running him all over Raleigh for like $ 4.00 per delivery plus tips.

"That doesn't even cover my gas, and when they hold orders 30-40 minutes before sending it to us off course we will be late. People get angry and don't tip which is understandable." I gave him a $3.00 tip anyway because he seemed like a decent guy stuck in a lousy job.

Expect it to be at least an hour or two, this is a bogus operation that we will avoid in this house in the future.

terrible service, price, and delivery time!. On two occasions, my food has arrived cold. one time it took over an hour and a half when i was quoted a 45 min delivery time. I called and asked my delivery fee to be refunded at least since my food was so cold i had to warm up my oven and re-cook it! I have paid for a drink and not recieved it and also been given the wrong order as well. I would not recomend these people to anyone...save your money and just pick up stuff yourself.
