Red Room seems to be good ... Fall 2010. I usually go to the Red room about once a year. I have had good experiences & bad. I have been three times this fall because each has been an excellent experience. The tapas menu has been updated. There were a lot of fresh & light flavors with subtile seasonings. So I have really enjoyed the food, service & DJ at the red room this year.

To tell the truth, I was not too impressed by the bar.. at least not as much as Bogart's bar. And I did have an experience where I accidently took home the sales reciept, but the waitress tipped herself anyway.

Food Average, Service Great. I have been to Red Room a few times, but the latest visit was the first time we had ordered food. Beautiful evening, so sat outside - able to get our "people watching" on. Overall, a decent atmosphere. They had some sangria specials, but we stuck to beer and wine - which was fine. Our server was excellent - returned with the right frequency, knew the menu and specials well and just seemed on top of it.

Food - They say 2-3 tapas person is sufficient, and we ordered 4 tapas and a flatbread - figuring that would be enough. We are not large portion eaters - we would have been fine with just 3-4 tapas. The shrimp in the ceviche seemed frozen, dips were ok, eggplant roulade was good and calamari was cooked correctly. Flatbread wasn't very good at all.

Different crowd in the late night though from being here before - overflow from Hi5, which is next door (downstairs)

Overall, this is not a bad place at all - good for a drink outside. Just didn't wow us and given the $$, I expected a little more.

Great food and serive on several occasions. My husband and I have visited Red Room on a number of occasions, sometimes with a group but mostly just the two of us. Each time we've been, we've ordered exclusively from the tapas menu and been extremely pleased with the portion sizes and flavor of the food. Our waitresses have always been knowledgeable and friendly.

My bachelorette party was also held at Red Room and we were seated at the couches, where we had a wonderful time. We also ordered a seafood paella and were THRILLED with it. It's a very large pan, which is also meant to share. Unfortunately, we ordered way too much food for 2 days before a wedding!

I would suggest the papas brava and the steak churrasco, as they were hands-down favorites of everyone we have taken over the past several months. I'm a personal fan of the mushroom empanada, and my husband really likes the hummus.

If you've never experienced tapas, go on Monday when their tapas menu is half-priced.

Pretty Good. Food, and service was pretty good. After 11 pm you might want to head somewhere else. Pretty rough crowd.

Best place on Glenwood. I love this place, great atmosphere, excellent tapas, and a nice patio. The spinach and feta dip is certianly the best I've ever had....you must try it! their waitstaff is hit or miss.....weekend crowd can get in the way of a nice dinner, but this shouldn't deter a visit!
