Unique & Friendly!. I just love this store. Bev and Bob, the owners, are so friendly and helpful. Each time I go in, I feel like family, they really care that I find just what I am looking for and a few things I didn't know I just had to have! It's nice to see a family business thrive in these tough times. They put their heart and soul into every selection. Run, don't walk to see what's new. Plan to spend a little extra time to get to know the owners too - they are so much fun! They are also artists in their own rights, check out their pottery and jewlery. Amazing!

BUYER BEWARE!!. I went to Out of the Kiln for the first time and bought a wrought iron piece to hang above my mantle. It didn't look right so I went back the VERY next day to return it and the owner told me I couldn't get my money back.. I had to get a store credit. I told him I wish I'd known that when I bought it and he said it was on the receipt. How many people read their receipts upon leaving a store? He also knew I was trying it because I asked him to measure it before I came in, so he knew I was trying to see if it was right for what I needed. It didn't look right when I got it home. Had he told me ALL SALES FINAL-I wouldn't have taken the chance and he knew that. So. I just warn anyone who walks into that store--you better love what you buy, because you're stuck with it!!

great unique gifts. This is a great place to buy unique and wonderful gifts. If you are downtown Apex - you should stop in and check it out!

Best gift shop anywhere! My only place to shop for art and gift items.. I love shopping here! I make sure I take all of my family and friends to this store when they come visit. If I need a really nice unique gift - I don't have to think of where to shop - THIS IS IT! Great pottery and glass items and friendly folks too! They make their own pottery. You have to come this store! It is in the historic district of Apex so the shopping experience is so cool!
