Best SUSHI in Raleigh. I have lived in Raleigh for less than a year, upon moving I have made it a mission to find the best of each type of restaurant. The SUSHI stop has been found!!! Even before we got our food I knew it would be good based on the fact that every two minutes someone came to the sushi bar area , where the server knew them by name. They then picked up a to go order. This happened four times!!! Flavor great, Service awesome, also one of the best parts is that the sushi bar is actually one that you could see the rolls being made. Carolina Sushi YOU are on the list!!!

Great Sushi. I go to Carolina Sushi and Roll weekly. The food is fresh, yummy and owners provide great service!

Highly recommend you try this place!

The owner?s daughter (waitress) is very cute, sweet and always has a smile on her face.

Best Sushi in N Raleigh!!. 1/2 price sushi on wednesday is a bargain and a half. the sushi is fresh and delicious! I highly recommend trying it out!

Best sushi anywhere!. Carolina Sushi & Roll offers many different takes on sushi. They have your regular nigiri, baked rolls and tempura rolls. The fish is extremely fresh. The sushi is delicious and I have yet to leave any food on my plate! The staff is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable.

Best sushi in Wake County. This is my favorite place to get sushi. They have the best baked sushi ever. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Top-Notch Sushi. I stopped in here the other night on my way home from a long day, and I was starving. I expected it to be passable, but nothing extraordinary. Boy was I wrong! It has a casual atmosphere....you order at the counter, then they get it ready, and you pay when it's ready. It appears to be mostly a take-out place, although they have a few tables where they had a few customers eating.

Anyhow, I found the menu very appetizing, and it was tough to make a choice. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll, and the man who took my order said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went next door to the grocery store to shop while I waited. I was back in 8 minutes, and they had it bagged, waiting on the counter for me. I paid, the man gave me a pleasant smile, and said "Come back and see us again soon." I thanked him, and was so hungry and ready to eat.

I took it home and dug in, and enjoyed every bite. The sushi rolls were big, fresh, and palatable. There were generous chunks of shrimp tempura, and I would compare it with some of the sushi I've eaten in the Pacific NW, which is known for authentic Japanese sushi. I would highly recommend Carolina Sushi & Roll to anyone looking for good quality sushi at a reasonable price.

I love this place!. My daughter and I eat at Carolina Sushi at least once a week, sometimes more. The SexyRoll is my favorite. I have tried many of the dishes and enjoy them too, but the sexyroll is the best!

You know the food is going to be good when many of the customers are Japanese.

The service is quick. The food is fresh. The location is convienent and you can even eat outside during the nice weather. I wish more people knew about this wonderful little restaurant. I love how everyone has signed the hallway walls! The presentation of food is fun and beautiful!

Sushi & Japaneese Cooking. I enjoy going to Carolina Sushi & Roll because their fish is very fresh, and the menu is clearly written. I only like a few items raw, so I like to choose at least one cooked item. The menu clearly has a Tempara & baked Sushi sections to the menu. They also have very good Teriaki - a generous portion mixed with rice for dinner, or smaller portion over lettuce for lunch (you can ask for rice). The Sushi is very good here.

The shop is a small business run by a local family. The entire family pitches in and takes pride in their food & welcoming atmosphere. I would not say they are the best, but I really enjoy going there.
