Very fresh, good quality sushi that they cut generously. No skimpy portions here! Even if you're not a "dessert person," try a dessert here. The coconut cake has freshly shredded coconut in and on it, and the green tea tempura ice cream is delish. Neither one is too sweet and both are unique.

Fresh high quality sushi. his is definitely one of the best sushi I have ever had. My boyfriend and I came here for their Restaurant Week menu and we were thrilled. Their ginger ale uses fresh ginger and it has a great kick to it.

So I picked their salad, Sea Bass, sashimi and chocolate cake for dessert for my pre-fix and my boyfriend got the miso soup, steak, rolls and lychee panna cotta. In addition, they gave us a big plate of edamame beans for free.

Their sashimi and sushi are very very fresh and supreme quality. I would say it is one of the best sushi I have ever had! The sea bass is well marinated and gosh the fish is so soft and tender. The steak on the other hand, is just average. I would recommend getting the sea bass for sure. The fried spicy shrimp on the side is also a must-have. It is similar to Chinese Walnut shrimp but spicy.

The dessert dishes are both amazing. The espresso ice cream is strong and the chocolate cake is warm with fudge inside. The lychee Panna Cotta is so so soft and full of flavor.

I fell in love with Bond St and I recommend everybody to try this place out.

Pros: High quality Sushi, great drinks

Impressive sushi, quick service. Impressive sushi, quick service

They have some very unusual rolls here that tasted really good. I liked the dragon roll and the volcano roll in particular. This place is like a hidden gem lunch spot that not to many people know about. To get inside, you have to go through stairway to a basement, but once you get there, the space really opens up and it's actually a pretty large area there. They have a nice bar in the front after the stairs. Food was fresh, salads and sushi were great.

Low on integrity, Contemptuous Staff. Went there for lunch to use a Groupon and they did not honor the original terms, instead made us order off the alacarte sushi and dinner menus, which were more expensive. Their thinly veiled contempt towards us was very dissappointing. This glimpse of thier true character, changes my previously positive opinion of this place completely. I won't be going back.

fresh fish, slow service. I am picky about sushi and have had bad experiences before. So when somebody suggested Wasabi, I was not sure. It turned out surprisingly pleasant! Really fresh fish and great sushi! Romantic atmosphere. Service was undoubted slow. It seemed Everything took a While. However, other than that, the waiter was very friendly and respectful.

Pleasently surprised.. I went into this place expecting a mediocre dining experience. I was pleasently surprised.

Granted I had only sushi but....the pieces of fish were good-sized, the fish, crab and vegetables were fresh and the presentation...above average. Service was good and the food came quick (only 6 people there @ 5:30PM and 4 sushi chefs). We sat at the sushi bar and they had a few TVs' on for watching and relaxing. They had Kirin Ichiban on tap which was real nice too.

Two people, 20 pieces of sushi ordered ala carte, 2 or 3 sushi rolls and 4 tap Kirins = $110 with tip. Not cheap....but not too expensive. I'd go again for sure.

Great neighborhood sushi joint. I have eaten at Wasabi 3 times in the past month, mostly because it is close and is a nice change from the usual pizza/mexican/chinese restaurants which tend to dominate the Apex/Holly Springs area. The atmosphere is pleasant - good for business lunches and a little more dim/romantic at dinner. I have always received good service both in the restaurant and at the sushi bar and feel that the sushi is consistantly good and fresh. I also like their Pad See Ew.

I have read the bad reviews and don't doubt that those people had bad experiences, but I believe that if this was a terrible restaurant I would probably have had at least one bad experience in the 20 times I have been there over the past year. Don't get me wrong, this is no Nobu, but then again Cary is no NYC. Overall the price is reasonable and the sushi is perfect for a casual night out. Would definitely recommend.

Great Sushi!. I eat here probably 2-3 times a month as I live very close. It is my favorite place for sushi in town but definitely not the cheapest. Then again, who wants cheap, raw fish?:)

Everyone is very nice and service is pretty good. The sushi cooks look like they have been doing this for a long time. There doesn't seem to be much staff turnover from visit to visit.

Definitely recommended!
