Great Service! They did a great job repainting my house. They took the time to inform me anytime they found rotting wood. Last guy who painted my house just painted over it and didn't say anything. They completed the job on schedule and as quoted. I would highly recommend using this company the next time you need painting done.

Proposal VS. Actual work nightmare.
When Mr. Coble came to the house to give me a proposal on deck painting, he said that the price would be $40/hr or the proposal amount whichever was the lesser of the two. My sun porch where I sit and read is next to the deck so I observed how many men and noted how long they stayed. My observation and the hours spent on the job resulted in several hundred dollars in over payment.
When I had not received a bill in a month, I sent the amount for the hours observed plus the cost of the paint. Mr. Coble sent back the check with a bill with the over charge
included. When I called to ask for an explanation he was belligerent and threatened me with a lien on my house and small claims court.
Please get several estimates before using this firm. The crew was excellent. Mr. Coble was not. If you observe he over charges for the time on the job, tough luck in trying to talk fairness with him.

Mrs. Allen was given an estimate on the work and told if the hours and materials came under the bid we would let her keep the difference. Once the job was completed she tried to send us a check that was around 300 short of the estimate claiming that the hours were under. After reviewing time sheets and receipts, we saw that in fact the estimate was actually cheaper than charging by the hour by quite a bit, so we billed her for the original estimated price. We only threaten a lien when she said she wasn't going to pay the amount she agreed to in the contract. We would have loved to give her a cheaper price had it worked out that way, because then we would have been her heroes. Unfortunately, the hours were not under the estimated price. There is no reason for her to be surprised, or call it a "nightmare", since what we billed her for was the ESTIMATED price stated in the contract.

Excellent Service. The Coble group is quite easy to work with. They were at my home to give me an estimate the same day that I called. They painted the entire place (cabinets, closets, ceiling, etc). They worked evenings and on weekends to get the job complete. After completing the job, the granite guys busted a section of the cabinet and tore the wall. Nick was out there that evening repairing damages. I was quite pleased with the service and the quality.

They also did one room of the interior. In addition, they power washed the house (before painting) and deck, as well as sealing the deck. They were thorough and very professional. They took extra care to complete all aspects of this very big job, in the most meticulous way. Coble is a family business that focuses on quality work and impeccable customer service. I highly recommend them for all repair, painting and power washing needs.

Best Value and Professional Service. Our HOA used Charles Coble Painting, and I am very pleased with the quality of the paint job. Mr. Coble was very easy to communicate with, his prices were reasonable, and his work is outstanding. His crew did a great job cleaning up as well- I would highly recommend them.
